This was supposed to be just a stopover on the way to Chamonix. What a pleasant surprise. Lovely old town to explore and beautiful hotel. Thoroughly recommend a stay here. Beds comfortable, breakfast delicious and reasonable cost

Our party of eleven stayed at the Wengen for three nights. Daniel was a warm and gracious host. The scenery is spectacular and the food delicious. All the four course dinners were delicious, I especially loved the fondue made with local cheeses.

The trains are super efficient and you can arrange with hotel staff to pick up your luggage at the train station on arrival.
