This lovely hotel situated above the town is perfect in all respects: well run, impeccably clean (I saw housekeeping dusting the frames in a guest room), friendly, helpful, beautiful views, comfortable beds and linens, great water pressure in showers, etc. From the moment we arrived, Daniel greeted us warmly and anticipated many of our questions. We were in Arosa to ski for the week at Arosa-Lenzerheide. Daniel was able to provide us ski passes (such a convenience) and directed us to Luzi Sport for our ski equipment rental, located a short walk from the hotel. A brief aside: Luzi Sport was amazing. They took great care in providing us with the correct gear for our sizes and levels; they are very friendly and helpful (especially when we needed to swap out some gear; plus, you can store the gear there each night and hop on the lift at the base; terrific rental shop! For skiing, the hotel is located about 3 blocks from the entrance to the slopes. Fantastic. In addition to a lovely week of skiing, we availed ourselves of the hotel’s sleds, which you can take up the small gondola and ride down the designated sled run. Word of advice: wear a helmet and be prepared for a long, thrilling ride. We cannot say enough about the great food and service at this hotel. Daniel and his staff go to such lengths to make sure their guests are happy with the offerings (which are amazing). Breakfast is bountiful and delicious (breads, cheeses, charcuterie, soft-boiled eggs, fruits, cereals, granolas, yogurts, juices, prosecco). Daniel presides over meals and the bar area as a gracious host. We highly encourage guests to partake of the half-board option. Dinner consists of an incredible buffet salad followed by soup, choice of entree and dessert. We ate well, relaxed well and slept well. We loved this hotel!

It was a great pleasure for us to welcome you and to be one of our esteemed guests. We are also happy to pass the feedback on to our employees and partners (Luzi Sport). We wish you a good start in everyday life and would be very happy to welcome you here again on another occasion. Hotel Hohe Promenade, Arosa. I must say this is by far the best experience we have in our hotel stays in Swiss.  The start was not such a fluent one, as we arrived Arosa on a rainy day and there was the classic car race with a lot of road diversions.  We took the less direct route and walked almost 30 minutes (normally just take 10 min) before we climbed to the hotel (which is on a smalk slope.  The room we had (room #21) is big, with a terrace, and has an excellent view over Arosa, especially in the morning when the clouds rise from the town towards the mountain separating Arosa from Davos.  Xxx, the female owner, greeted us warmly.  She had kindly arranged our group in connected rooms.  Daniel, the male owner, always appear in the happy to assist mode,  was exceptional helpful in giving us advices on weather and what to do (as the unexpected rain had disrupted our walking plans).  The dining / breakfast hall has the same view as our room and it was absolutely pleasant to have meals there, taking the time to chat with family and friends.  Daniel obviously is the type giving very close supervision to his staff during the meals and frequently checking customer satisfaction.  We dined there for several evenings.  Though we could not go a la carte (as the restaurant serves in house guests only), the arrangement was we choose earlier in the day one of the two choices from the main in a 4-course dinner (salat was buffet style).  Food was meticulously prepared and not just a half-board type of style.  Our friend from London is a rather picky person, even he was impressed by Daniel's service.  If we are to return to Arosa we certainly will stay in Hohe again.

We had four nights here in January. The room as well as the bathroom were large and practical. Breakfast was solid with a good selection of fresh Swiss and local produce. The hotel is well kept and the owners with staff were helpful when needed. The sauna/wellness area was very small though and the times for heating of the sauna could have started earlier. I Wouldn’t mind returning for another stay.

Very well run, with a clear eye to every detail. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and except from the ringing of the nearby church bells very quiet. The breakfast buffet was more than enough for us and the quality very good, but the extras (eg. freshly squeezed orange juice at 7fr) too pricey. All in all we would not hesitate in using the same hotel also next time in Arosa.
