A very nice hotel. The rooms are decorated in the GraubĂĽnden style. There is nothing missing in the rooms, shower and bathroom that are equipped with a special idea, you can run a nice bubble bath and watch TV at the same time!
Breakfast is very plentiful with a large selection.
Superbly located practically opposite the Signalbahn.
And the icing on the cake, free entry to the Ovraverva Spa, sauna, wellness, with indoor and outdoor pool, 50ml from the hotel

We come regularly and are always very satisfied. Very nice, bright rooms, modern with pine wood and mountain views. Comfortable bathroom with shower/WC. Large breakfast buffet with egg dishes, etc. included from the menu. Excellent restaurant cuisine. In summer, public transport and mountain railways included from 2 nights. Ovavera indoor pool just across the street including a carrying bag for a bath towel. Bike room with power connection for the e-MTBs we brought with us, as well as the hotel's own, well-maintained e-MTBs for rent for our accompanying friends. Ideal starting point for bike tours in all directions. Until next time!

The location is convenient because St. Moritz is so small and you can easily traverse the city on a series of frequent buses (e.g.1 or 6). There is a full gym next door, with dumbells up to 44kg so and enough equipment to work any bodypart thoroughly. The pools in this fitness center are popular, particularly on certain nights (wink, wink). Taxis arrive in less than 3 minutes. The manager is extremely well-versed on even the remotest detail about the area and is willing to give you a thorough introduction upon checking in. I didn't try the restaurant so no opinion. If a traveler is seeking a place whereby they can hit the slopes and maintain a workout schedule this might be an ideal place. They give you a ski pass at 47CHF per day, which includes all transportation in the area, eg. buses and ski lifts. The gym access is included. More cool things to discover upon visiting.

Very nice staff.Very nice, quiet rooms.(Superior) Very, very fine breakfast with choice of different. Egg dishes from the menu. We were able to load and store bikes in the garage. Outdoor parking free of charge. The bus stop near the indoor pool Ovaverva, and the buses go all over the Upper Engadine. In late autumn we felt the indoor pool cool.Hotel is ideally located for hiking. We caught the most beautiful week of autumn. We come to the Engadine every year.It is always just wonderful. The free public transport/cable car ticket in summer for 2 hotel nights is simply unbeatable. Thanks for the nice stay.

If the visitor doesn't want to spend a small fortune staying at one of St. Moritz's well known luxury five-star properties, this is the place to stay.
The property is located in St. Moritz Bad, just opposite the newly opened Ovaverva
Wellness Compex and no more than around 20-25 minutes walk from the center of town in St. Moritz Dorf (there is also public transport available). The hotel structure is quite modern inside and out, it offers underground parking and two restaurants.
Free entry to the large Ovaverva wellness complex is included in the room rate.
The rooms are functional, have enough closet space for a bulky winter sports wardrobe, and contain a by now almost essential Nespresso machine . The modern bathrooms need some post construction improvements, such as a better enclosure for the shower space and better-regulated water pressure and temperature. The ample breakfast is served in the cozy main restaurant.
Under the visibly able and engaged direction of Annabel the hotel's staff is friendly and efficient. Worthy of mention are Tiziano at the reception and Richard in the restaurant.
We'll be back.

We booked directly with the hotel. It is situated about 1 km from the heart of the town. The room was of decent size and very clean. Amenities included couple of swivel chairs, a writing desk, two cupboards, flat TV (however with limited English channels), bedside tables with lamps. The bathroom was of decent size and very clean but the shower cubicle was a bit cramped at about 75 cm square. Bathroom amenities were of good quality and towels were very clean. They provide free access to the steam bath facility across the street though we did not try it. Breakfast spread was good; in fact, you could even get eggs cooked to order. There are two restaurants here but one of them was closed. The breakfast room was of good size and Covid protocols were followed. The restaurant staff were very courteous and helpful. The bus-stop is about a 100 ms. away - very convenient to get to the railway station, Corvatsch and other places. They have only a limited number of free open air car parking slots (about 12 nos.) but have paid underground car parking (again limited to about 12 nos.). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in recommending this property. We will surely stay there again the next time we visit St. Moritz.
I must make special mention of Mr. Nicola at the front desk who was extremely courteous and went out of the way to help us throughout our stay. He took care of even the smallest of our requests and all with a smile! Such people are a great asset to the hotel and I hope the management recognises his efforts. All in all, we had a most comfortable stay.

Hotel
Wow what can I say other than this hotel was amazing! I normally try to budget hotels when we travel, but in Switzerland everything is exspensive. We decided to stay at Hotel San Gian which we didn’t know much about other than it was a 4 star hotel, had access to a pool and fitness room and allowed our 80 lb dog to stay. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that with our stay, we received gondola passes for all days there and pool/spa/fitness passes for all days as well. The pools (4 of them) and spa are absolutely magnificent and cost millions to build. A pure treat! I learned from the staff at the pool that only about 3 hotels in that area include this. Our stay was made warm by Paul who works the front desk. He was so friendly and helpful. We also loved the restaurant staff such as Nanja and Mirko. We will definitely stay at this hotel again if we ever go back to that area. For the food quality of our breakfast, pool/spa passes, gondola passes, and hospitality, the price was well worth our stay.

Great hotel, very kind staff, from the reception (we were offered a free taxi back to the station) to the waiter (he changed us a wine we did not like and offered a hot chocolate to the children). Clean rooms, although not too spacious. Excellent plus the entrance to the swimming center in front of the hotel. Great food, although don't expect large portions. Prices in line with life in Switzerland. I put 4 stars because the room was too hot with no possibility of varying the temperature except by opening the window

We had an excellent stay at the San Gian and felt comfortable throughout. We received a very warm welcome. As our companion was unable to travel with us at short notice due to illness, a good solution was immediately found for everyone involved.
The room was superbly equipped, spacious and very clean. We got a comfortable bed for our 8-month-old daughter.
The breakfast was super tasty, plentiful and of high quality. We would particularly like to highlight the above-average and extremely friendly service. Here too, everyone was very family-friendly and accommodating. The excellent service staff rounded off the evening with a delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant. We also particularly liked the fact that we were able to use the indoor pool and spa (Ovaverva) next door without restrictions. So even rainy days were no problem at all. The hotel's own spa area was also very nice and invites you to relax in between and more than exceeded our expectations. Very nice facilities and there is absolutely nothing to complain about. We had a great time and will be back. We can only warmly recommend the San Gian.

There is a buffet with cold cuts, cheese board, yogurt and cottage cheese, jams, honey, fresh fruit, fruit salad, cereal, breads, freshly baked pies... And one can order a la carte (at no extra cost) various eggs, omelette, mixed salad, pancakes...
Dear Sir/Madam,
The city bus departs from behind the Hotel to the Corvatsch cable car. When there is enough snow. it will be possible to ski back to the Hotel. The cable car to the main ski area Corviglia is just in front of the Hotel. No bus needed.
Please do not hesitate to contact us for further Information.
Kind regards,
Hotel San Gian Team
