The Overlook Lodge is situated 300m below the CERVO Mountain Resort. Nestled in the village of Zermatt you will find the five 4* serviced apartments that carry the spirit of CERVO without actually being at CERVO. From comfortably compact to spacious, they offer the CERVO lifestyle with a fully equipped kitchen and modern alpine design.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
I booked a studio here and was upgraded to a 3BR. That apartment was very stylish and comfortable with large windows and a great view of town and the Matterhorn. It’s just down the street from the Cervo which is a wonderful hotel. The staff were most helpful and organized. They assisted in my luggage storage and provided transfer to the train. The location is a bit of a walk from the main village but that means it’s quiet. Ski lockers and laundry facilities are on site. I’d definitely stay again.

Helpful staff, easy & convenient check in & check out. Transfer from train station can be arranged by hotel staff. Wonderful & beautiful view overlooking Matterhorn. The 3 bedroom apartment is huge, comes w fully equipped kitchen, 3 toilets and a spacious living & sitting area. Love this place!

This is a new apartment with full facility kitchen. The apartment is beautifully and tastefully decorated with good room size for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. We stayed at 2 bedrooms apartment. The apartment has a big 'indoor' and outdoor balcony that we didn't really make full use of it as the weather is getting cold. The best part is the Matterhorn view from the living room!! Though it was cloudy most of the time we were there, we got a few minutes to enjoy the Matterhorn from our couch. We really enjoy staying here that we could not find any fault to this apartment.

Wonderful place. This is the second time we come to this apartment. Everything so so beautiful and nicely. Very confortable, beautiful views and has everything. Bathrooms and rooms are very comfy. The kitchen has everything to cook.

Apartment is located uphill about 15min walk from Zermatt train station (nearest convenience store is 5-10mins away). For guests with several luggages arriving in winter, might be better to request for transfer service as slopes can get slippery. Due to the elevated location, the apartment likely has one of the best unblocked views of Matterhorn compared to most of the other hotels located at the valley which packed next to each other. We stayed in the 2-bedroom Vista apartment for 2 nights. Apart from bedroom and kitchen, housekeeping was disappointing as it was not clean/dusty in other areas of the apartment. Loose furniture items looked dated and tired. There were also several faulty items but these were promptly fixed after we notified the team. With the amazing view, the apartment could have been a much more wonderful stay if not for the hiccups. Our guests can book an electric vehicle transfer from the train station for an additional CHF 20.00 per arrival and departure. We are very sorry to hear that some aspects of your stay were less than satisfactory. Usually, our guests find that our housekeeping team does an exceptional job at preparing beautiful spaces for our guests to enjoy and appreciate their care and attention to detail. The view was perfect. We woke up the very first morning and saw the matterhorn in its full glory. The location is about 5 minutes away from the Sunnega station. Also a short walk into the town centre. Very spacious 3 bedroom apartment. Beautifully decorated too!

Before our stay, we received an email on an offer to meet us at the train station to bring us to the lodge, this is a nice gesture as the lodge is quite some distance away and might be cumbersome with luggage. Upon arrival, we got the key, got into the room and we are impressed with the decor, spaciousness, amenities and especially the balcony with a great view of the Matterhorn. To walk to the main station, it is about 5 to 10 minutes. We were also provided 2 taxi vouchers.

though the location is not convenient, the hotel offers taxi for free from the train station. everything in the room is good and well-organized. the view from the hotel is super amazing. the equipments and facilities are nice. I would come back again.

This is a comfortable apartment with excellent view. Although not nearby the train station, the apartment had free shuttle service to and from train station. You don't have to carry your heavy luggages. I especially appreciate the fully equipped kitchen with professional kitchen equipment and utensils. Spacious living room and main bedroom with the view of matterhorn. I recommend that book directly via official website. Except 5% off discount, no surcharge if you change date. My family and I had a very great time here. We would recommend this apartment to everyone.
