I had the pleasure to stay here for a few nights, really very nicely run, great team & lovely facilities. The art deco was certainly different, food great, staff excellent. Only complaint was my stay was not long enough, next time !!

Centrally located just 5 minutes walk from the train station, this unassuming from the outside hotel is a great experience. We stayed for 4 nights with our 2 children (aged 11 and 8) in an amazing Family cube loft room, which had a fantastic balcony overlooking the spa in sunshine most of the day. The rooms itself was pretty cool,...

If you are looking for a modern luxury hotel in Zermatt than this is the stop you have to make. The Backstage hotel is very central and close by the station of Zermatt (walking distance). Their rooms are very modern and different but are all great and have a balcony to sit on. When you are at the hotel -...

Fun hotel, great staff, beautiful atmosphere and a delicious breakfast! The location is perfect and a five minute walk from the train station. No need for taxi's at all prime location and easy access to lifts. The hotel has a great spa and outdoor hot tub which happen to be popular during my stay. The hotel design is a bit...

We simply loved Backstage hotel, friendly staff, beautiful decoration and unique design, excellent breakfast, the hotel is a small boutique hotel; and the resturant transforms during the dinner to offer 2 Michele star food. The 7 rooms spa is a great way to relax after your skiing day and then you can go downstairs to the cinema which showing the...

We have been there for a skying and hiking vacation, and we cold not have chosen better: friendly and helpful staff, beautiful and clean room (very comfy bed too!), great breakfast and overall service. The SPA is also good place where to relax after a day on the snow. For the winter sport lovers: one of the few boutique hotel...

This is the perfect hotel for a vacation that involves skiing as well as enjoying the nightlife of Zermatt. It is perfectly located in the town so that you can easily walk to the lifts and at night you can also easily walk to town to enjoy the many restaurants and bars of Zermatt. We traveled with our kids (18...

We booked one of the cube rooms and were impressed by the style and design. Although not to everyone's taste, its certainly different. On a skiing holiday you appreciate a good bath and soak after a day on the piste, the bath took over 40mins to fill up! The design is quirky and if you are in a new relationship...

I booked a deluxe double with Matterhorn view. The room was on the first floor and had a funky design. The shower and toilet is behind a glass wall (not 100% private), the bathroom is integrated in the room and very limited in space. For 2 person for a longer winter holiday, the room is too cramped, but for a...
