This charming boutique hotel offers large sized clean rooms. We booked a balcony room that gave a lovely view of Lake Geneva. The location is walking distance from train station and old town. Free metro passes were provided as well. Breakfast was good, served in a lovely parlour room. The area around the lake is lovely. A great place to...

We crossed the street from the train station, climbed up 3 flights of steps, and found the awesome Hotel Elite! The young man at the desk was friendly and helpful. He provided us with a map and showed us places to go for dinner. The lift was very cute & tiny, it fit the 3 of us with our bags...

We had a nice two bedroom family room although the central location means that views are limited. The lift is a small 3 person max facility so may present some time or difficulties for a group with mobility concerns or a lot of luggage. Very helpful staff immediately offering the free public transport cards to us, and a very good...

Nice, fairly small hotel in quiet location, but close to Metro and rail stations (even with “the steps”). Single room on first floor - room fairly basic and some of the furniture is showing its wear, but it’s all adequate. Don’t expect “luxury”. Rooms have been well insulated against internal noise – not perfect but much better than most. Breakfast...

The room was clean and the hotel has a wonderful location, especially in Winter when you want to be close to the city center and not to the lake. Moreover it is near to the station (three minutes walk), but in an upper position. The staff was nice and price worth it.

This hotel is located in a really good location!! In a quiet street, very close to the main station, few minutes walk from the old city, and only 20 minutes walk from the lake. The hotel provides a free ticket for the public transportation. The hotel has private parking spots, free of charge. The breakfast was good, the staff were...

We found this Hotel to be charming with a wonderful breakfast included. The lady serving the breakfast was always with a smile and our tea ready. All the service in this hotel rated an a+. It was close to the train station and walking distance to the water. We would definitely stay there again.

First time visitors to Lausanne and Hotel Elite was an ideal base to explore the city. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable, we even had a balcony to sit and relax on after a days sightseeing.

I stayed at the Elite for four nights in September. It is, as the title notes, well located, and for a budget traveler as good a deal as you can get in expensive Switzerland. Had I 'm druthers, (and more money) I'd have stayed at a place in Ouchy, the most beautiful part of the city. But the Elite is...

Near the station across the main drag and up a steep 10 minute slope or 60 or so steps. Great view of the lake and distant mountains on the street side and very quiet. Comfortable bed and very helpful staff.
