Excellent hotel. Rooms are simple but well thought through. Staff were excellent in all departments. Position is perfect. Center of the Old Town: Surrounded by excellent restaurants around the lake area.

If one is visiting Zug, there is no better spot to stay...right on the square, under the clock tower, bus stops at four different corners taking you wherever direction you want, and yet you are steps away from the center of life in Zug..the lakefront and many many wonderful restaurants to choose from, shops, the ferry,a cobblestone trip to a...

The City Hotel Ochsen is a lovely hotel located right in the centre of Zug and is only a short stroll away from Lake Zug which is a definite must see. It is family owned which gives it a lovely feel. Everyone who worked at the hotel were very friendly and I felt welcomed straight away. The interior of the...

Nice and friendly hotel. Single bed rooms are really small and price level is significant. Bed was very hard and almost on the ground. Staff is nice, friendly and positive. Overall, enjoyed my stay, but the room could have been a bit more comfortable.

Dear guest Thank you very much for your review! It is true that we have few rooms where the bed is lower than in the other rooms. As all our Superior rooms are equipped with so called "Hüsler Nest" beds we suggest you try one of our Business rooms next time. In those we provide another bedding system and probably...

The room was immaculately clean and conveniently located, with an interesting view of the street below (window was good - allowed sight but very little sound to pass). Restaurant was very good (ate there only the first night due to other options that I wanted to try) and breakfast each day was excellent. The Ochsen is very conveniently located both...

Really suffering from decor with bad taste - 70's design would be too kind. The rooms are actually more depressing than the Hotel Lowen - See my reviews on Lowen and Park Hotels. They are depressing coloured rooms with childrens furniture. I would definitely not stay here if you have a propensity to jump out of windows. The breakfast was...

Hotel is centrally located in Zug, just a short walk from the station, shops and most international companies based there. The beds are fantastic and the rooms are clean and functional. The staff have a "can do" attitude and are extremely friendly.
