I stayed with my mother and my two young daughters in the quadruple room. We rearranged the beds so that the kids wouldn't fall off during the night and I was very impressed to see the room was spotless. It is also very well insulated, which helped ease my worry about my overexcited daughters annoying other guests. The staff was...

Hotels in Zurich are incredibly expensive so don't expect to get anything for your money. We got a tiny hot room overlooking the main street, noise day and night, nothing but a fan against the suffocating heat. Pluses? OK breakfast, clean, good location. We needed to be near the U of Zurich. My advice: if you go to Zurich be...

First things first, the location is great, not only close to a tram stop but also an easy walk to the old part of Zurich and the lake. The staff is very nice and the breakfast quite ample considering this is a 2 star hotel. (nice fresh fruit and the boiling egg station was great) The room was spacious, the...

New or newly renovated hotel in the art/museum area. Tram 3 stops a half a block away so easy trip from the train station. We had double bed and two single beds with a private bath. Bathroom well laid out with separate room for toilet. Very clean. Breakfast included with fresh coffee or tea, Oatmeal/Muesli cereal, ham, cheese, juice and...

The room was clean, the service was great. Very friendly people who are willing to give you a hand if you need it! The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is small but clean, the bedroom is surprisingly spacey, so you have great room to open your suitcases and rearrange everything in them without bumping into anything. The hotel has...

Visited with family. Convenient location and very well thought out hotel. Comfortable rooms with practical facilities. Eduardo at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The staff at this place showed us Swiss traditional hospitality. Close by to old town. Happy stay!

I had a 17 hour layover in Zurich and clearly did not want to stay in airport. Hotel Hottingen is just what I needed...good price, location, clean, great shower and a quality breakfast. The next day I took the tram to the lake and walked from there to the train station, which then took me to the airport. There was...

It's my first time in Zurich and on a solo trip. I selected this hotel based upon the reviews I read about it. Indeed I came upon a very nice, quaint hotel that's very reasonably priced for the area. The staff I met: Anand, Eduardo, Luis (and Mr. Tom Ford, I miss the li'l fella - thank you Luis!) and...
