I didn't actually stay at the hotel but I had lunch at their restaurant after spending some time at the gorge. The place looks rustic and was quite tranquil to say the least. The food was divine......

we went for a weekend and ended up staying a night. The room was dated and there were a lot of noisy guests. Our complaints fell on deaf ears and the TV in the room was not working well. It is well positioned for the area, being close to the Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve and Leopard Rock. The supper and...

No getting away from it the Oribi Gorge is breath-taking. Unfortunately the map that was supplied to us by the Curio shop at Oribi Gorge Hotel was very confusing. We also found that you need at least a High-Clearance Vehicle to travel on the road. Also most of the places on the scenic view map no Disabled or Elderly Person...

After driving past Oribi Gorge for 36 years we finally decided to visit Kwazulu-Natal's Best Kept Secret. The Gorge is fantastic, the hotel welcoming and comfortable with excellent food. The nearby attractions within the hotel grounds and nearby are excellent

Found this old farmhouse hotel just so quaint and the staff very friendly. Lots of entertainment in the vicinity and the food pretty good. Loved the rustic look and feel of the place and would visit there again.

Hotel is clean and the rooms are nice & huge. The staff is friendly. The breakfast & dinner are very delicious. The area is more for families with lots of adventures for kids. Its not ht best place to hike.

A very quaint, organized spot a stone throw away from the best swing of your life. The service is done with a smile and the rooms are touched up to make you feel at home. Everything from the dinner to the breakfast was done to perfection. Thank you once again for an unforgettable stay:)

The hotel room was rustic but comfortable, as expected from a country hotel. The staff were friendly and accomodating to our needs. Loved the fireplace in the dining room, was a treat to eat dinner on chilly evenings in front of a roaring fire. The water that comes out of the tap is borehole water, drinking water from town was...

We stopped at the hotel for breakfast, en route to the Gorge and Lake Eland. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was lovely. We all enjoyed our breakfast and all commented that it would be great going back to enjoy a bottle of wine with a big log fire.

We booked in as a family from the 23 April to 25 April. The hotel is rated as a 3 star.it remains a challenge to see how they received this rating. The bathrooms are in a poor state and beds are really uncomfortable. We bought vouchers for 8 adults. Only 6 adults are 2 children went. The hotel billed us...
