Lovely, clean guesthouses. We stayed for one night with half board (dinner and breakfast) and really enjoyed our stay. The room includes tickets for Kalya Beach at the Dead Sea upon checkout, which is a few minutes drive from the kibbutz. It was a great deal. The kibbutz itself was lovely, and smelled of blooming citrus flowers. They also had...

Spent 3 days in Dead Sea area for a time of solitude & refection. Rooms were clean & everything we needed, excellent wifi & TV for cottages, gorgeous landscaping. Good breakfast included, dinner option available. Grocery store in community for your needs. You can walk to Qumran National Park or take shuttle to beach area. Egged bus device from Jerusalem....

The hotel itself is not bad for that price. It is clean and tidy, quiet, with a nice garden. Good breakfast, friendly staff. They have discounts for visiting Qumran park and Enot Tzukim nature reserve, which is nice. However, the hotel much disappointed me with non-returning the 200.00 shekel deposit that they withdrew from my banking card upon checking-in. They...

I stayed at the "Vered Hamidbar mini suite". NOTE: The images on the ordering web site do not always match the actual rooms... For 512 nis for two, you get a compact functional air-conditioned double room, a lounge with two folding couch/beds, a shaded terrace, bathe/shower/toilet room and a tiny kitchenette. It is clean but the air-condition temperature could not...

This is my third time staying at this Kibbutz and as always I get so impressed with their well kept gardens. We had a unit that was clean, with good bed and pillows, a working fridge and TV. And daily change of towels. Staff as always very friendly and accommodating. And I saw great improvements, there is now WIFi in...

We went with friends & family . The bungalows are small but nice and clean. The pool was amazing! !! The beach is with natural mud which makes it not easy to enter the dead sea but really is one the best treatment for your skin!

We had a little bungalowpark feeling here: the rooms are like small little houses, clean and comfortable, with a little terrace before the door. The welcome was friendly, we got a lot of information about going to the Dead Sea and where to eat. Breakfast was good with enough choice.

This is apparently one of the oldest Jewish settlements on the West Bank. It's an oasis in the desert, and the desert bit shows in places. On arrival, we noticed that this is a security fenced compound, and a gun toting female Israeli soldier was on duty at the entrance. However once inside, it's about as good as they could...
