In the past the 4-star Fletcher Hotel Palace Stadhouderlijk Hof was owned by the Royal Dutch family. The rooms are a bit outdated, but the restaurant and garden are very nice and the location in the old City is superb.

This is a beautiful, palatial hotel. The architecture of the building is stunning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the location in the centre of Leeuwarden is excellent. The room size was good and well-heated. I recommend this hotel.
