Had a fabulous welcome from the staff. We left our bags at reception while we were shown where the cycle garage was. Came back and checked in. We were shown to our room by the most helpful lady. She and another member of staff carried our bags up the stairs to our room. We were at the back of the hotel. Our room was big and the bathroom massive. It also had a bath which was great after a days cycling. Hotel is right bang in the middle of town which was perfect. Very clean. Plenty of hot water. We ate in the restaurant for the two evenings of our stay. Food was amazing and a good price. We would definitely stay again if we're in the area and would certainly recommend

The hotel is located Apeldoorn downtown, close to everything. The service is full of polite people, which are easy to deal with. The room is relatively big, but there’s no fridge inside all of them. I stayed in two different rooms, and there was a fridge in one of them only. The breakfast is amazing, with eggs, omelettes, fruit and bread. The hotel is also a restaurant, which serves a special food. I recomend both.

When visiting Appledoorn I always try to stay here. The hotel is average in appearance but has a very friendly atmosphere and is ideal for accessing the amenities of the town. Rooms are modern and clean. I always enjoy my stay here. Staff are young but very attentive.

What a great and affordable Hotel.Room was very spacious and very clean. We were made very welcome and the Hotel is in the centre of town and only a short walk to the train station, that has direct service into Amsterdam.Brilliant stay .

It was a great pleasure to stay at the hotel. We were 5 couples and all found the hotel beautiful. The rooms are clean and modern especially the bathroom . The location is gorgeous in the middle of Apeldoorn. Everyone was friendly and supportive! Breakfast was nice, the coffee or cappuccino best in class! Ok, no elevator available and the stairs upstairs are steep, on the other hand it‘s the character of the old building.

the rooms are a bit outdated, and i think the hotel is ready for improvement. The bar below ensures a great evening, and in the morning you get a very nice breakfast, with fresh croissants, loads of lunchmeat, cheese, eggs, yoghurt, fresh fruits and more. And good coffee :)
The hotel is in the heart of the city, which makes it a nice pick. Just be aware its a bit old...

I stayed together with my son and his small family. We each had perfectly fine rooms, enjoyed being in the center of the town, had a decent meal on the hotel terrace on the square. Breakfast was nothing special, but fine for the purpose.

A little hotel in the center of Apeldoorn. Had a nice overnight stay. Arrived a little too late to try the complimentary coffe/tea. Larger than expected room with a good bed and large bathroom. Good, high-pressure shower. Friendly personnel.

Very centraly located and convenient for Restaurants and bars. 10minute walk to Railway Station. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was also spacious. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection hot and cold food. Stairs though is very steep and steps shallow. Staff friendly and efficient. An enjoyable stay.

Review for the Grand Cafe. Went there for a quick late afternoon snack before dinner. The snack and drinks were so good, we double our order and never went to the dinner place we had planned for. Good choice of beer, nice typical Dutch 'borrel' snacks but served in an original more 'upper class' fashion, without going for posh. Service was above average and prompt. Prices also a little above average but given the location and ambiance, that's quite OK. I rate this place with 4 points as 'Very Good', because it's better than its neighbors which are OK but really 'Average'.
