Very nice accommodation. The room was charming with the character. Top floor with a balcony access. Service absolutely amazing. Breakfast so delicious, the Pegasus egg on toast was amazing. Close to the centre of the town.

We had a great stay at this small hotel. The decoration was romantic, the terrace was big and quiet, the bed comfortable. Breakfast was served individually. The staff was very friendly, and all this for a correct price.

I am often away for business and am certainly used to staying in the same old hotel. So I was pleasantly surprised by this gem in the heart of Apeldoorn. It's lovely and quaint whilst having all the necessary essentials of staying in a hotel. The place has so much history and character which makes it a lovely place to be in. With limited rooms it's not crowded and you can really relax. It was a lovely place to come back to after a hard days work. When I come back to Apeldoorn I definitely want to stay here again.

I stayed there for onw night on my business trip. It was a very nice change from the ussual hotels I am staying at. The manager of the hotel was very nice. Rooms are so awesome that I made perhaps 30 pictures there just to show my friends. 100% recommend it!

It's like living in a museum, or your eccentric great-grandmothers house. Every room, every corner, is filled with antique bits and bobs, brocaded walls, rich mahogany engravings, and floral etched ceramics. From the outside entrance to walking into the lobby, I felt as though I'd been transported into the past. The owner is a charming older woman who is so delightfully accommodating and kind that I immediately felt at home. The room took my breath away - a huge canopy bed, a balcony overlooking the garden, two comfy chairs with small table in front of a gas stove/fireplace, complete with ceramic tea set, wooden writing desk, and a beautiful bathroom with spacious tub and sink. All of this and corners and drawers filled with the collection of knick knacks that a house this age would have... So comfortable and elegant that I felt like a royal guest! And breakfast was a production - classical music in a front window room overlooking the street and freshly prepared eggs and croissants and assorted breads, a fresh brewed pot of coffee, milk, buttermilk, Orange juice. Exquisite.

I stayed with my boyfriend and we absolutely charmed by the place. Highly recommended!

The owners are very friendly - hotel very clean - good breakfast.
Decor in original Victorian style but has interesting history.
Requested twin room - beds more for child, very narrow - steps up to bathroom.
Lighting could be better in evening not good for reading - poor in bathroom for shaving and makeup.
Requires bin by kettle.

I booked a room here for my husband's birthday because the hotel we'd stayed at previously in Apeldoorn was full. It looked cute on the website, but it was much more adorable than I imagined. With eclectic Victorian-style decor, our room had many unique touches. Everything was comfortable. The staff was lovely, and breakfast was pleasant. Very cosy and very recommended if you want a quaint and cosy stay.

Slimy satin/polyester sheets, peeling paint on ceiling ... lights in bathroom not working, ancient stained and fraying bath towels, dirty washcloths...a beastly experience...the whole place should be closed down...we could not get away fast enough. The stuff of nightmares!!

Interesting vintage B&B in a 100+ year old building. It is very different from your standard hotel but certainly has its charm. Maintenance of the garden and paintwork can be improved.Staff is friendly. Break was served in an orangery. Eggs are made to your choice. Selection and quality are o.k.

Note that there is quite some noise from traffic on the adjacent road. The squeaking wooden floor above you is what you can expect from a building this age but I don't like it. Unless you are a deep sleeper better bring some earplugs.

We paid EUR 85 for 2, including breakfast. Parking and internet is free.If it would have been EUR 60 or so I would probably come back again. For EUR 85 I can find a more comfortable place to stay.
