Detailed Reviews
The room offered was old and smelled of smoke. The kettle was extremely old and dirty. The carpet especially was very dirty. In the advert it was clear that there would be a fridge. Indeed we needed this item for our pet to store her food and cool her cooling vest. We also needed it for us for several items for our picnic.
We were also told the pet rate would be 25 euros for the whole stay not per day. In addition we stayed with a Bilderberg in a different location before with our pet and they not only charged appropriately but also had the facilities promised. They also provided a bowl and treats for her.
This location in Apeldoorn however did not provide anything that made the stay suitable for us or our pet and did not provide the room as advertised. To be clear we would not have stayed in this room for the price we paid if we had seen the condition and the lack of facilities. We would have stayed elsewhere if we knew the fridge was not in the room. The room should not have been advertised as including items it did not have.
The original advertising for this room also highlighted the check to be at 12pm. We were only given the check time for 11 after we paid. Again we feel this is false advertising.

My wife and I always feel like we are appreciated as guests here, with the friendly staff and facilities such as the large rooftop swimming pool, the option to hire decent bikes and comfortable amenities. It's nice to sit in the lounge next to the fireplace. We also enjoy the volleyball vibes in the hotel from other guests when they are here for top volleyball events.

The staff are very helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately there was some sort of generator close to our room and this really disturbed our sleep in an otherwise very nice room. It seems others have complained about this problem before. Perhaps the management needs to address this issue? Thankfully we were able to move to another room for the remainder of our stay. All the necessary precautions were in place to limit C-19 spread.

Outdated rooms with terrible soundproofing, the bed itself is good, but you will not get some rest with all the noise. Not what we expected for the price, and a 4 star rating. You want to go out of the hotel instead of staying a bit longer inside, that feeling says enough.

I went her for two days off line; the first evening I walked through the Kroondomeinen behind Palace het Loo. The second day I rented a bike at the hotel. The room in the hotel was spacious and had a little balcony. The room and the bathroom were clean and well stocked. The room was in the back, so very quiet! The breakfast buffet was ample and well organized (with reserved slots, sanitizer and gloves and walking lines). The staff was nice. The pool was great to go for a short swim and had a lovely view.

Penthouse needs some renovation, bit out of date.
There were holes in the carpet, because of the fireplace.
Diry stance with cause discouring in the carpet. It has been clean but it doesn't look nice.
A trolley for the breakfast would be nice to put you're breakfast on to go the room, instead you have to carry it. And hope you won't spill.

Very friendly, professional and personalised service. The Royal treatment. Great, beautifully renovated rooms, gastronomic restaurant, quiet, safe & secure location. Heated pool, small gym & even a small sauna. Amazing breakfast with smoked salmon, all kinds of bread & pastries and you can request eggs to your liking. What more can you ask for. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

-Hotel : beautifully and very quietly located in the middle of the greenery of Het Loo Palace, whose (side) entrance is 5 minutes on foot from the hotel. Opposite the hotel there is a large car park (7.50 € per day).
The reception at the front desk was particularly friendly with ample explanations about the hotel and how the shortest distance on foot to Het Loo Palace was.
-Room: renovated last year.Very spacious room. Fantastic bed, Big screen TV, nice balcony. The bathroom was nice with fantastic rain shower. (also separate toilet). Everything was quite neat.
- The restaurant : have eaten à la carte 2 nights there. It was very tasty, cared for and served with a smile. Moreover, a very nice wine list.
- Breakfast : nice breakfast buffet with the necessary variety.
- The bar with terrace. Despite located along the street side very quiet because of very little traffic. Bar moreover very cozy.
- I would like to emphasize the absolute friendliness of the staff. From the front desk, bar, restaurant, breakfast room and cleaning staff everyone was particularly friendly and accommodating.
As far as we are concerned, it is certainly worth repeating and advisable.

Today I had already made a reservation at Hotel de Keizerskroon in Apeldoorn at 11 am via booking.com. I received a very unfriendly welcome at the counter. My booking turned out not to have gone through. Then I was asked to show the confirmation email. I looked it up on my computer and showed them the confirmation email. Had my computer shut down and was then asked to show payment. Then restarted my computer and showed that the amount had been debited from my bank account. I then got a room, but....
What is my surprise? While waiting for dinner in the hotel bar, someone from reception comes to me and asks if I would like to email them the proof of payment again because they do not completely trust it. I was constantly treated with suspicion.
It is a nice hotel but the service is absolutely worthless. I certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel to others. It seemed like bullying the customer to make me as uncomfortable as possible.
I wasn't served at the bar either.
Rarely have I experienced such poor service

Very nice hotel. Impeccable service, spacious and comfortable rooms, a swimming pool with a rather large pool, fully equipped gym. Very varied breakfast (there is everything, croissants, baguette, jam but also salmon, sausages, cakes). Good quality restaurant, spacious, the onion soup is very good and very French. The hotel is opposite Het Loo Palace. On the other hand, it is quite far from the station, but there is a bus stop nearby. For the taxi, it will cost around 20 euros to cover 3 kilometers. The neighborhood is very quiet. Overall the prices are rather high, but perhaps that is the price of quality.
