Detailed Reviews
Quiet rather big room and renovated bathroom. A big plus is a small refrigerator in stead of a minibar and safe box in the room. Windows couldn’t be opened. Good AC. Beds on the harder side but good, good pillows too. Many others seems to have experienced the lack of cleaning, so did we. No cleaning one day out of six days. Was compensated by free drinks at the bar the same evening, thank you. Shower hose was broken so it was difficult to shower the first day. Told the reception three times before it was replaced. Staff in reception felt very young and not trained enough.
Didn’t use the pool, didn’t look fresh. Great free parking outside.
A bit far from the city center, takes about 20 min or so to reach the pedestrian street.
Talked to a young woman who seemed to be the manager. Told her about our issues and she thanked us for informing her. Train the staff who had difficulty finding stuff around the reception area. They tried their best but as a four star hotel it must be better.
On the other side of the street named Jachtlaan are beautiful big expensive villas, perfect to walk around in the area.

the staff is really friendly but the hotel need to work on the rooms. A heating possibility in the bathroom is a must but the room I had didn't had a chance to heat up the bathroom. The whole room was cold when I arrived and the heating in the room hasn't warmed up the room. Bar and Restaurant are OK. Breakfast is expensive.

Room as such was OK. But twice house keeping did not come to clean it.
Due to lack of staff. Yes, covid but also because the hotel cannot keep the workers.
Poor payment makes them demotivated.
Staff must do everything: reception, kitchen, serving, cleaning,....

I have family living nearby, and it is the third time that me and my family ( husband and two children) are staying in this hotel. The stay has always been fair enough but this time not anymore, There have been a lot of issues about the cleanness of the rooms. As we stayed there for a week, I was expecting that the rooms (we had two rooms) were done daily, but nope despite the fact that I asked for the cleaning lady I had to swipe the floor doing the beds, cleaning the bathrooms myself. Ridiculous with this rate of the rooms. Only once the rooms were done correctly, but in order to obtain this I had to complain a lot of times at the reception. Also, the swimming pool was not according to the normal hygiene standards, with 'hairballs' and rests of baby poop floating in the water. So no, I do not think that I will return.

Despite having provided all required information and payment details, the hotel cancelled our reservation 30 mins before our arrival at 2330. Indifferent front staff did not allow us to rebook our rooms (even at higher rates) and suggested we sleep on the pavement outside. I travel weekly for work and have never experienced such poor customer service. At midnight no other hotel in the area was able/willing to provide us with a room and we had to drive to a different city where a Holiday Inn welcomed our custom with a smile. I typically support local businesses but this is one I would avoid!

It was the start of the half term in Holland but fortunately the hotel was not yet busy. Our family booked several rooms because we were attending a party in town. We had a very large double at the front of the hotel and so did our daughter with partner. The rooms were spacious, very clean, well appointed, and we liked the coffee pod machines. Breakfast was also very good, with eggs being cooked to order. We liked sitting in the lounge, just catching up with other family members over drinks or coffees.
I grew up in that area and love the forest all around, to go walking and cycling. Even though it was snowing, I went for a walk in the palace gardens (right accross the street) and my husband went for a run there. It is a peaceful area away from the centre.
Their checking in systems and admin could be improved because there were several mix ups with rooms and bookings, but these were ironed out in seperate conversations with the hotel staff.

I love the area, I went to run in the afternoon and close by the hotel is very beautiful, there are many forests and streets full of trees.
The family room for 2 adults and 2 children are perfect. The room was not very clean, I think they forgot to use the vacuum cleaner. And long time they did not cleaned the airco neither.
Coupon for drink is a nice gesture.
The water in the swimming pool is not very warm, but we really enjoyed it.

The hotel is great and the rooms were very nice. The breakfast excellent and the relaxing lounge area is good as well. Sadly enough the receptionist that works in the afternoon ed early evening is a very very arrogant and unfriendly guy. He doesn´t have a clue about customer service and should find himself another job. After all he is the face of the hotel which is in general very good.

Positive: the rooms are spacious, bathrooms are nice, there is a handy fridge, and a nice hotel lounge.
Room for improvement: the front desk staff are not very polite, hairdryer didn't work, ventilation makes rooms freezing, they supplied the wrong pods for the coffee maker, there were cables dangling in the room. In sum: solid foundation but they need to clean up their act.

The hotel has a warm staff, with a great breakfast, also had dinner at the restaurant in the evening and it was good. The room was spacious and comfortable bed. There is a safe in the room. The only small issue I had was the the gym, but there is also a heated pool!
