We have now been here for the second time. The hotel has a quiet location and yet close to the theater, the center, Het Loo Palace, Koninginnelaan, etc.
For us it was to catch our breath after a tasting at the Cognactheek.
A tasting at the Cognactheek is highly recommended; cognac, armagnac, whisky, rum, port or pineau de Charente, there is something for everyone.
Here you can enjoy a good bed, a delicious breakfast or a drink in the lounge in peace and quiet.
The hostess is very helpful and you will receive a warm welcome.
In the morning there is an extensive breakfast that you put together yourself the night before based on a menu. This way you contribute to a zero waste goal.
All in all, a great location and I will be here again for an overnight stay in December 2023. That says enough, especially because I am critical of where I stay or spend the night.

This small hotel is truly a little piece of heaven!
The beautiful lounge/breakfast room is so welcoming and elegant, and Petra is a wonderful host. Nothing was any trouble and it was lovely to meet someone who takes so much pride in what she does. I particularly loved the fresh flowers and candles 💐
Breakfast was made to order, everything was fresh and beautifully presented.
Room was at the front of the hotel but there was very little noise from passing traffic. Shower great, lots of lovely towels and quality shower gel/hair wash was provided. Very comfortable bed and 3 great nights’ sleep!
Petra is a star!

Great hotel. Extremely friendly reception. The owner immediately knew who we were and also had all kinds of gluten-free products. We were also allowed to choose which room we wanted. Large lounge with all kinds of drinks. On good faith you could take and put on a list what you had taken. You won't find that anywhere. This hotel is a top hotel. Not too big and therefore very cozy and cozy. Recommended

It was a very disappointing arrival and cold shower, after having had a fantastic wedding. No warm welcome, no bubbles or flowers, just a cool card and two macarons. The next morning we woke up at 7:30 am, as the bridal suite was located next to the stairs and the breakfast room. People talking, walking on the stairs and a lot of noise. So it's a terrible wake-up call. We ordered a bridal breakfast and told them they could surprise us with it. Here too a big disappointment. An ordinary standard breakfast. Everything was ready, uncovered, with flies flying around the dining room. No fresh orange juice, but from a carton, a few slices of dried out cheese, some slices of ham and cooked sausage, a bowl with 2 slices of cucumber, 2 slices of zucchini and a cherry tomato cut in half. A bowl with 4 cubes of watermelon, 2 croissants and a white and brown hard bun, 2 pieces of butter, barely enough for the croissants, coffee and tea and an egg of your choice. We paid extra for this, but it is still not clear to us what was so special about this and what was like a bridal breakfast. We deliberately chose this location and wanted a beautiful and special experience, so it was more of a nightmare and anticlimax. This hotel is certainly not recommended for your wedding night.

Lousy service: I made a booking via Booking.com on September 2. Paid, but no confirmation received. After email contact, the owner of Hotel Zenzez wanted to make the reservation, but I had to pay immediately with a small amount, while the money was still tied up with Booking, probably because they do not have their administration in order. I said that I wanted to pay that little bit, but on October 8, because it was not clear whether the money would still be paid out and I did not want to immediately lose 440 instead of 220 euros. After all, I've already paid. The booking also stated that payment did not have to be made before October 8. However, I would have done this, as there was only 1 room available.
The answer you get is: “This isn't going to work for us. I'm removing the option from the system” Nice and easy. It was a birthday present for my husband, thank you, it took the fun out of it. I feel sorry for the prospective customers. In any case, I don't have to treat my customers this way, otherwise I wouldn't be around for very long. Now there will probably be a response that you could have booked directly with the hotel: too easy... why do you use Booking.com? I'm going to wait another 12 days for my money.

Super cozy and well-maintained hotel. Friendly service and a chat in between. Beautiful rooms, nice and luxuriously furnished. In addition, an ideal location in the city, you can easily reach the theater or restaurants. Breakfast nicely prepared and tailor-made.
In short, we had a wonderful experience.

We were looking for a place to stay for a birthday and I ended up at Zenzez. A beautiful building decorated in style. Nice welcome, nice room, wonderful bed. We were able to rent 2 bicycles to go to the birthday party and when we returned home there was the option to have a nightcap in the lounge.
Breakfast in the lounge was already ready, it's nice that you can choose what you want by filling out a card in advance. Rolls are very large, 1 roll very hard, but otherwise delicious.
Highly recommended if you want to visit Apeldoorn and the surrounding area. Right in the center, everything at hand. Friendly host and hostess.

stylish establishment, wonderful host, great breakfast. We were even offered to use the bikes so we could discover the surroundings. I can only recommend this establishment for a stay in Apeldoorn. Location is quiet, yet close to the city centre.

An excellent hotel in a beautiful building, conveniently located on the edge of Apeldoorn.
The hostess is extremely cordial and interested. My room (10) is on the top floor, easily accessible via 2 flights of stairs. Everything you need is there, including a lovely breakfast. Old-fashioned charm and service coupled with modern comfort. You order breakfast the evening before. Parking is available on the street, there is plenty of space.

Very hospitable, wonderful beds and perfect breakfast. The location is also very nice and you can enjoy cycling in the area. What was extra nice for us was that the owners are from Friesland and so are we! This particularly beautiful boutique hotel is highly recommended!

Same kind of reply here - check with the hotel since staff will try all their best to find a solution to your request. I stayed in deluxe double and that is indeed quite small, but 1 person extra bed should just fit.
