The hotel was beautiful with elegant Christmas decor. My boyfriend and I had lovely big room with a very nice bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. The corona measures were enforced accordingly at the breakfast buffet. you had to wear your face mask when serving food and sanitize your hands every time you went up.
The only disappointment was the time it took to check out due to the que of people, this meant we were 15 mins late for our spa treatment. The reception at the Spa did not think this was a problem and told us to take a seat, but when I checked again with one of the staff members who didn't speak English very well, she said in Dutch that we had missed our time slot and there is nothing they can do till 5pm. Since we has already checked out and didn't want to wait the whole day we used the thermal pools. Nice variety, but still too crowded for corona. There is always a wait to use the steam cabin or the smaller jacuzzi pools.

The hotel is nice. However the room is very basic and no amenities are provided, eg no robes or larger towels or even toothbrushes and shampoo/conditioner. For 125 euros per person one would expect a little more than a basic room. However a toothbrush set was provided at the reception upon request.

The pools are nice but on a Saturday they were rather croweded. It was impossible to find two seats one next to the other in the 3+hours we were there.

The restaurant in the pool is self service. We didn't try the food but only a smoothie but it was not freshly made.

We were very impressed with the restaurant Flow. The good was good and fairly priced. We strongly recommend to go for the a la carte menu and not the buffet.

In summary, we didnt feel it was a luxurious experience but it wasnt bad.

The hotel is easy to reach. Room was clean and spacious. Comfortable beds. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The meat was perfectly cooked and the autumn veggies were delicious. The Spa is clean and has quite a few options indoors and outsideTwo comments: I fee that hotel guests should not need to pay for onsite parking and extra towels for use in the Spa. Also on leaving we noticed that the car that was parked next to us has been broken into overnight so maybe security is needed.

Don"t go during a global pandemic! The Staff is AMAZING! The amenities are great! The food is not bad! I would recommend this spa to anybody just not during a worldwide pandemic. Management does absolutely nothing to maintain any type of social distancing. This place is a petri dish for COVID and it is only a matter of time...... During checkout today there were probably 60 people all crammed into the small reception area waiting in the only two open lines. More staffing would help to eliminate the long lines (see pictures for examples). The only way in and out of the hotel was through the mass of people waiting to check-in and out. During the buffet breakfast, no controls were enforced to keep people from standing all up on each other or even touching food or plates that could be used by others. If you wanted food you had to use the same utensils, everyone, also in the hotel has touched to plate it. At the various restaurants, all tables were open and people were allowed to sit within inches of each other. To open your beer at the pool restaurant you had to use a community bottle opener that who knows how many people grabbed between cleanings. I personally witnessed more then 20 people open beers with it. There was no hand sanitizer anywhere to be found in that restaurant.

Stayed for 3 nights, ate breakfast and dinner each day.

The rooms are clean and don’t seem very old, I’m sure they are not new by any means which is testament to the upkeep of the place. The shower was good, decent pressure and plenty hot. There was a minibar in my room which was a nice touch. Not sure if that’s the standard.

The gym is well equipped especially for a hotel gym, lots of machines and better than usual free weights selection for a hotel gym. The spinning area with the virtual cycle routes was also fantastic!

The pool is clean but probably too warm to do any serious swimming in, nice to relax in after a tough day all the same.

The restaurant was not cheap but in saying that I feel the food was worth the money. Nicely prepared and quality ingredients. Breakfast was also really good!

The only thing that let the hotel down was the service was slow in the bar/restaurant. I’m not sure was this due to the fact it is a hotel geared towards rest and relaxation but I would have appreciated speedier service. The service while slow was good all the same and the staff were polite

The hotel in general is very impressive and I would stay here again.

Spent almost a full month here on a business visit . Nice hotel but they rank themselves as 4 star superior and that’s a stretch . But it is nice , clean rooms , friendly staff and great food . Every dish I tried during the month was first class . Room housekeeping is a bit shoddy with glasses , laundry bags etc not being replaced as they’re used. Cushions for the bed left thrown on the floor . Could be better. Great gym and spa but here’s the strange thing . The gym is open 7am to 9pm Monday to Friday but only 9am to 3pm at the weekends . Not sure what the logic is there. I went down on Saturday at 3:30pm to use the gym only to find it locked up. But overall it is a very nice place to stay with great staff and a nice ambience . Also booked a business room for a meeting and that was very nice indeed. I’ll definitely be staying again.

ZERO focus on service - it is all about squeezing every last penny out of visitors. Housekeeping refuse to change the towels - they ask for EXTRA MONEY to change towels. The rooms are €250 per night, but they only replace your towels for an extra fee. Greed hit a new low. They provide two old, thin, very very small, extremely poor quality towels for your entire stay. You’ll get better respect and service at a basic 2-star hotel.

The condition of the room was also very poor. Damp/mould visible in the bathtub and the TV remote had old, stale food all over it. Bed linen torn, cheap and old. (See pictures) 🤢

This place needs to reevaluate how it operates and remember what service means. Everything they do is about squeezing that extra euro out of you.

Usually very good, nothing to complain about in terms of service and breakfast. We have been coming there for years to relax for a day, but this year I noticed a few things during an overnight stay. Because we now pay more every year and if you come to spend the night again, I would like it if you got full bedding for that money instead of with holes... or that the bathroom would get an upgrade instead of showering in the bath with only a hand shower . And can you make a cup of coffee or tea in the room?
For the money you spend on an overnight stay, I would now opt for a day ticket and take a treatment instead of staying overnight.

Hotel was clean . Rooms quite small . My room had no draws only a wardrobe which was weird
Two single beds pushed together .

No kettle or tea. coffee etc . 5 euro room service charge
Everything EVERYTHING is overpriced from the 7 Euro water in your room to the 4.5 Euro small tub of Pringles in the mini bar

Breakfast errmm Well if you like not much choice at all then it's for you ...

Only thing going for the hotel is the spa which is the main draw however all the other add ONS will drain your bank account

Better places to stay ......

It was so disappointing this time. It was not my first time at Sanadome, but it was my last. The hotel, room and breakfast buffet are fine, but this time we really came to relax in the hot tubs, saunas and enjoy a book on a lounger. Well...that didn't work out. The sunbeds were occupied by towels from 9:30 am on both days. The saunas and hot tubs were overcrowded and you could walk over people's heads. There is apparently no good policy regarding maximum number of visitors and apparently the chairs and sunbeds may be kept free all day long, while at least 80% of the time is only used for the majority of the day to deposit your towel.
We reported it to reception both yesterday and today. The receptionists can of course also do something about this themselves. The policy is simply not good. We went home earlier than planned today because of the crowds, but in the meantime there was a whole line of day guests who were allowed to pay a lot and then were allowed in. They will also come home disillusioned tonight.

Hebben ze aparte rook ruimtes?
Answer from Sanadome1
Hopelijk is uw vraag hiermee beantwoord.
