Small cozy room with everything needed. Staff was friendly and helpful and location was perfect. Since everything attraction, restaurant, café, store or any other convenience is only 5-10 minutes away, your stay can't be simpler.

Arriving by train to Groningen we headed for the taxi rank and was told - no - just walk over there and turn right - so maybe 8 minutes walk. Located within the city centre which was a lively throng of young adults (apparently Uni was due back that week) with outdoor cafes buzzing. As you enter the Martini Hotel... More

Stayed 2 nights here, and found hotel to be very relaxing and affordable. Rooms were good, quiet, beds very comfortable, although do like a bit more privacy in a bathroom! Spacious and relaxing bar area, friendly staff, and great location for wandering about.

An impressive ground floor area nicely restored, with some notable stained glass in the stairwell. Most helpful and friendly personnel without exception; they could not be faulted. A good location for the city and the trains. Hire bikes at a fair price. Excellent breakfast in a splendid surrounding. The room was a fairly typical modern hotel room at the back... More

The Martini Hotel is old, dated and grand. This is somewhat of a contradiction but there is a old style that is nice but the hotel could use a bit of a touch-up. The staff is friendly and attentive. As an old hotel, people with mobility problems my have difficulties in this hotel (doesn't apply to us but I wanted... More

No exhaust in the bathrooms. Rooms were small and wifi was on off in the rooms we stayed. But helpful staff and good location. Good experience over all. They have a bar within the hotel if anyone is interested.

V comfortable. Excellent restaurant attached. Corner shower unit quite small but water piping hot and all was clean. Bed had good mattress and hotel was quiet. I would recommend this hotel as it is also in a good central location. V helpful staff and we got a good group deal.

The most positive thing I can say about this hotel is that is has an awesome location. The lady at the front desk when we checked in was very kind. Free wifi. And worked well. The room (132) was too small. The bathroom evenPerhaps the smallest room I have ever stayed. Though I must say that it was pretty clean.... More
