Nice bed and very cozy room, good location close to town and very nice owners! A few minutes to the closest restaurants and a 15 min walk to train station. Amsterdam is an interesting town with a lots of things to see!

I think we picked the best place to stay in Amsterdam! We walked to the Tulip to check in and was told the room would be ready in an hour. We was told it'd be fine to leave our bags so we could start to enjoy the city! We walked to the room later in the day which was about...

Loved our visit to Amsterdam. Chris and David was incredibly helpful to orientate us to the best attractions during our stay. They are super Organised giving you maps, advice and their contact details for emergencies. The property is lovely, super central, quiet and spacious! Clean, no fuss just a great stay. Over the weekend there is a great market near...

Our accommodation was close to the center and convenient for everything but it was on a quiet street. David and Chris went out of their way to be helpful and a grocery store was just two blocks away. The kitchen was easy to use and clean as was the bathroom.

Chris and David from Amsterdam at home were probably the best hosts I have ever stayed under. Chris was extremely helpful and gave us all the information we needed. The apartment we stayed in was perfectly situated near the centre of the city and was ideal for getting to bars, restaurants and public transport. I would not just highly recommend this...

My husband and I spent 5 nights in the larger 2-story apartment in mid-October 2016. The apartment is furnished exactly as stated on the website. It is beautiful and charming and has everything you need (even toiletries and a hair dryer and hair straightener!). The location is ideal. It is right in the heart of the city center, yet it...

Upon opening the door to this spacious gem we immediately regretted not booking a longer stay in Amsterdam! A perfect place for a couple of people who want to hole up for several days -- complete w/ a small kitchen, dining room table. You're in the thick of things, but set away from it a bit on a residential street....

The room's decoration is very clean, warming and comfortable. The Location also excellent near the metro station and near some hot tourist place. We also easy to find restaurant and supermarket over there. Mr David and Chris also provide us more important traveling information.

Stunning residence is a perfect location. An absolute treat to stay in this historical dutch building lovingly decorated and equipped with EVERYTHING I needed for an absolutely fabulous stay in Amsterdam. Chris and David created a 5-star experience with their attention to detail both in decor and service. People seem to have forgotten the art of hospitality but these guys...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
