We fell on our feet here. The location is ideal for seeing the city either by foot or bike. You are only two blocks from the busiest part of the city but the apartment was in quiet side street with a police station at the end of the road just to be sure it will be peaceful! The ground floor...

Stayed recently with a friend who has never been to Amsterdam before. We stayed in the main part of the B&B and had a huge bedroom with plenty of room for 3 plus a downstairs with full size dining table , good kitchen which came with snacks and plenty of tea, coffee and cold drinks. Amsterdam at Home is immaculately...

This was our first trip to Amsterdam and we couldn`t have been more lucky with this place. We booked the apartment and really felt at home the minute we walked into the door. There was a kitchen, a bar and a big dining table on the ground floor and a big bedroom at the upper floor. Everything was spotless and...

Excellent position, really close to the "centre of the action", but in a quiet street. We staied for 3 days in the apartment (very comfortable) and the amazing was to live in a real "dutch way", because fo the structure of the house. The hosts, Chris and David, were very polite to give us information and suggestion for our staying,...

We had a fantastic stay at Amsterdam at home bed and breakfast. It's central location was perfect and yet there was almost no street noise. The host Chris made us feel very welcome and provided us with a lot of local tourist information. We particularly liked the bar and all the homely quirky touches that Chris and David have included...

We stayed in the Apartment for three nights in December. It's our first time in Amsterdam and we are happy we stayed here. The room has big toilet and shower room. It is very close to every where and the area is safe and quiet. Tourist attractions & restaurants are close by. We love Amsterdam and this house.

"I stayed in the apartment last December and loved it. It`s right in the middle of everything but in a very quiet street. It`s very spacious and super clean. Although there was no breakfast included Chris and David provided me with snacks and juice. They gave me all the privacy but were available if I needed something. It felt like...

We have stayed twice now in the studio room at the Amsterdam at Home B and B in Amsterdam. As the name implies, the room is your home away from home with a shabby chic theme which makes it fun. Because this house sits on an off street, the room is quiet even in the day so it's the best...

In november I stayed 1 night in Amsterdam at home with my sister. We were in the upper appartment and as soon as we opened the front door we were very amazed. The big table (10 persons), the kitchen with everything you need to cook, the bar, the couch, the bathroom. And upstairs a big bedroom with a perfect bed,...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
