We really don't have any negatives about Monet Gardens Hotel. We arrived at 9:00 in the morning and were able to get in our room. The room was clean, spacious and had a beautiful canal view. The breakfast in the dining area was terrific. The Dutch pancakes were delicious, and they have a machine that freshly squeezes oranges. There is a bar off the lobby, and you can get some lite fare as either room service or to eat in the dining area. The location is just a few blocks from the water and the central train station. There is a supermarket about 5 minutes away if you need some munchies. We walked everywhere and never felt uneasy or unsafe. I will definitely recommend Monet Gardens to my friends.

This was an awesome hotel. Staff were exceptional with a big shout out to Yang, who was so very helpful. Great value for Amsterdam. We had a sweet room overlooking a canal. There is a metro station within a 5 minute walk from the hotel, which quickly brings you to the Central Station and anywhere you want to go in The Netherlands. We were very pleased with our stay.

The Monet Garden Hotel was the perfect place to get over our jet lag and start our European vacation. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. They provided us with a map of the city and marked the hotel so we could easily find our way back. The room as clean and gave us ample space. The bathroom had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The beds were comfortable. There is a safe in the closet and bottled water is provided. The location is about a 15-20 minute walk from the train station, about a 30 minute walk to the Museum District and Anne Frank House and about a 10 minute walk to Micropia and De Hortus gardens. Given that Amsterdam has such beautiful architecture, we enjoyed walking the city and coming back to the Monet Garden at the end of our day. We throughly enjoyed our stay!

What a kind and gracious hotel to allow us to cancel and reschedule not once, not twice, but three times -- twice for COVID, and then once for a thankfully short-term acute illness that made me too weak to travel (last year). I am beyond grateful for this latitude. When we arrived, Younglee at the desk said, "Oh! I'm so glad that you finally were able to make it!" She'd been corresponding with me for the past three years, through all of the requests for cancelation. Great location, comfortable rooms overlooking the canal directly below. And most importantly, impressive customer service (especially Younglee, but honestly they were all above-and-beyond helpful). Best shower I've ever had in a hotel! And be sure to let them book your cab to Schiphol...we found that Uber wasn't always reliable, and having them book it took one potential stressor out of the equation. They even had a hand-held scale for weighing your luggage! (just ask at the desk) It's walking distance to virtually everything. Be sure to check out the nearby Greek restaurant (The Olive, across the street and down a block or two) and Soup en Zo ("Soup and Stuff" @ Jodenbreestraat 94), a 5-min walk. Also, there is an Albert Heijn just around the corner! Bottom line: This place is a gem. Monet Garden lives up to all the positive TripAdvisor reviews. Book with confidence, without hesitation.

We enjoyed our stay at Monet Garden. Great location. Easy walking distance to restaurants and busier areas. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms larger than most in Europe. Clean, modern and nicely decorated. Enjoyed a canal view room with boats passing by. Very nice bar and breakfast areas. Would definitely return.

Great location- there’s a laundry service a few doors down called Fix It, a grocery store around the corner and a flea market less than a block away. We stayed in a canal view family room which provide a queen and two twin beds. The ceilings are high and the view was lovely with boats going by. The windows do open but it was chilly so we had no need. Bathroom was clean and modern, shower had great water pressure and there were high end toiletries. However there is no conditioner so bring your own. Breakfast buffet looked nice and was offered for 20 Euros but we always had to get to a tour so never ate there. We found the front desk staff to be friendly and helpful. The decor of the hotel is warm and yet modern. We were able to get to the airport with our luggage for 65 Euros which was reasonable for 4 people with 4 large suitcases. Overall had a great stay and I would stay again!

The hotel is well appointed, warm modern feel with great personalized service. They were kind enough to put our luggage in our rooms while we were out touring, followed by drinks when we got in. The bathroom is great with a large shower and comfortable beds! The lounge for drinks was very convenient for pre and post touring. Breakfast buffet is very good as well with the fresh squeezed orange juice right in front of you. Highly recommend it!
