Hotel is located a fair way out of central, which wasn't a suprise but just so people are aware. It is easy enough to get to on the no.2 tram from Centraal station (20-25mins).
Check-in was quick and the staff pleasant. The room I stayed...More
Staying just outside the centre of Amsterdam reaps rewards - this was very reasonably priced and the area was beautiful, just on the outskirts of the vondelpark. The breakfast was extra (although we were given a complementary breakfast on the day we arrived while they...More
The hotel is in a residential area and is about a 20 minutes tram ride to the city. The first thing you notice upon entering is the dirty brown carpet that needs to be ripped out. The same carpet is also in the rooms and...More
Lovely quiet surroundings, right near entrance to Vondelpark and walking distance to central Amsterdam with lots to see on the way. Staff were helpful. My only criticism is that the carpets could be remewed. The hotel is quite dated and is in need of modernisation....More

Hello Inda K, we also came from Schiphol airport. We took the train (which is located in the airport. €5.30 for a single, ticket machines will be visible and they only accept card or coins) to central station and from there, you go outside and cross the street. the tram stop is right there. You want to take the #2 and stop at Amstelveenseweg. You can pay for the tram as you get in and they accept all modes payment. (€3.00 for a single) from there I suggest using a map or gps, but it is really close. Hope this was helpful!
