This is a very nice small hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. Rooms are very nicely done. Super convenient location if you want to stay in the center. Rooms are nice, cosy and very clean. Strongly recommended.

I stayed her for a couple of nights for a birthday weekend. The hotel is located centrally on the Keizersgracht which is a lovely canal with beautiful buildings and the hotel is one (or rather three townhouses made into one). It has a discreet entrance and looks elegant. On entering we were greeted warmly and checked in, although as our...

It is often the case that a luxury hotel will have slightly snobby staff, that was NOT the case here. The staff makes you feel comfortable and accommodates any requests with grace and a smile. The location is wonderful and I was able to walk to the Anne Frank House, the Central Train Station and the main shopping streets. The...

Stayed last week for three night. Very nice room overlooking the garden. The hotel is really atmospheric being an old canal house which is beautifully decorated. The room size was good and we had all the amenities we required. The breakfast room was spacious and served up a lovely help yourself buffet breakfast (cooked available). The hotel is centrally located...

We prefer boutique hotels and having tried The Dylan thought we would go to this one for our next visit to Amsterdam. The room looked over the garden which was nice and as it snowed it made it look very picture postcard. It felt a bit on the small side but OK for 2 nights. One thing was that cooking...

The term 'boutique hotel' does get seriously overused - and abused - in my experience but I think it has something to do with the proprietors wanting to impose their quirky tastes on transient guests. The Canal House is genuinely quite a distinctive hotel with a great location overlooking one of Amsterdam's central canals and easy walking distance to the...

We stayed there this last weekend and booked this hotel (instead of the Okura) as I looked through the wonderful comments on here. The location is great and the hotel itself is very well decorated, and maintained to a high standard. Lovely decor, very friendly team, staff seem happy to help guests, they will offer to make dinner bookings for...

On arriving at this gorgeous hotel we were offered a hot drink. As we were very early our luggage was taken care of and information about local attractions was given. Room was delightful, lovely bedding and complimentary full size toiletries available. Hotel is very central and only a 15 minute walk to the train station. Bar meals and drinks are...

Lovely hotel great staff and rooms only let down by dodgy wi Fi or would have got a 5 ! Such a shame when everything else is great. We had a lovely comfortable stay here and loved we could walk everywhere.
