This is an excellent hotel. 10 minute walk from the train station, it is in a lovely quiet area right next to one of the canals. 10 minute walk to the main shopping street, maybe 15mins at the most to the red light district. Check in was great, was given a map on arrival and was given a lot of...

This is one of our favorite hotels, period. Welcoming, stylish, very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful and comfortable rooms, well designed to make them feel much larger than they are. Comfortable bed, large modern and functional bath (complete with spacious tub!). Ideal location, easily walkable to all sites, yet a quiet and classical Amsterdam canal neighborhood. Worth a visit to...

Sebastian's is one of those handful of hotels that immediately becomes a favorite because a stay here conjures up pleasant and everlasting memories. It's the type of hotel one does not easily forget. The location, which is a primary factor for us in choosing a hotel, is terrific and central (about 0.5 mile walk from the train station). Where Sebastian's...

There is not one thing I didn't love about Sebastians. The staff were the best I have ever had the pleasure to come into contact with, the hotel and room were spotless and beautiful, and the location was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning on my next trip to Amsterdam!

I have no idea what criteria are used when allocating a star rating for a hotel, but whoever rated Sebastian's 3 star got it woefully wrong. This is a small boutique hotel that punches way above its weight. The decor is quirky, tastefully kitsch and in parts a tad garish but it works and you feel that you're entering an...

Stayed here in March 2017 for 4 nights with 2 friends in a triple room, the hotel is only a 15 minute walk from central station which was handy. We arrived at the hotel around 10.30am and although check in isn't til 2pm we only had to wait 10 minutes to enter our room. I had emailed the hotel beforehand...

It's a very nice hotel, very well located, beautifully decorated, the room, even though small, is really comfortable, and the bed is comfortable as well. The shower is very good, with strong and hot water and they provide lots of good ammenities. The staff is so nice and make its best to help you. I had a meal at the...

Stayed at the Sebastian's for 4 nights sightseeing in and around Amsterdam. Firstly travelled from the airport by train direct from the airport - so easy, trains are very frequent and everything is signposted. Fast service direct to Central Station and short 10 minute walk to the hotel. The hotel is located in a lovely district and canal side. I'd...

All I can say is that you will not be disappointed with this Hotel. From the booking on line to arriving through the front door. 10-15 minute walk from the train station or you can take a taxi but 10 Euros is the norm. At least if you walk then your sight seeing has already started. Staff were always helpful...

The staff were very helpful during our three day stay and we appreciated their restaurant suggestions. The location of the hotel suited us very well, an easy walk from the station, from restaurants and set on a beautiful stretch of canal. Our room was spotless with a good bathroom. The room was not large but for our short stay was...
