The hotel is in a fantastic location – walkability to various points of interest was easy and it’s removed from the main tourist areas, so it’s quiet and quaint. There is a massive number of local restaurants, coffee houses, shops, etc. within a stone’s throw, so you can always find a fun place to pop in. I, personally, loved walking down the block to the local coffee shop every morning to get my latte! We were two friends traveling and we opted to book a larger room with a queen bed + twin bed so that we would have more space and be more comfortable – it’s Europe, so the rooms are small! If you want a few more feet of square footage, I recommend doing what we did to be comfortable, especially if you are there for a few days. The room and the bathrooms were both spotless – the only negative I would give is that the hair blowdryer was horrible. I would definitely go back – overall magnificent experience.…

The room was spacious for family and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. The location was excellent and close to some nice restaurants and local attractions. The only minor gripe I would have is that there was no way to contact the reception staff from the room ( we did not have a local phone) but overall we had a very good experience.

Location was fantastic. Rooms were a little musty and the lingering smell of smoke was everywhere. I wanted to love it, but in the end the quirks overcame the comfort factor. Maybe if the staff was a bit less indifferent that would have made for a more enjoyable stay? Very walkable location and great neighborhood.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, walking distance from many amenities. Staff was very helpful during the check in. Room (triple) was very nicely decorated and looked freshly renovated. We had breakfast once and it was very good (you need to book it the night before). We would definitely be back :)

Very difficult people to talk to, they just do not care at all. United airlines cancel my flight. I called them to remove a day to my reservation and they told me they just do not care at all of my problems. Avoid, very unfriendly people.

Location was perfect & walkable everywhere. Staff very friendly; received fresh towels upon request. We knew this when we booked it but the room & bathroom are super tiny. Not much room to walk around after you have luggage everywhere. But that wasn’t an issue for us. We stayed because of location. Air worked great & shower was also good. There is also a bar in the lobby. We had a canal view and enjoyed it!

1st time here, been to Amsterdam plenty of times but our usual was booked so tried here. Great customer service from people on the desk to bar staff, very friendly didn’t catch every1’s name but Roy behind the bar is mega 👍🏽 Will defo be back here

We liked this hotel very much! The decor was very different but seemed to fit the setting of the city. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location (2 blocks from Anne Frank’s house), clean,and quiet! Has an elevator and has been upgraded without losing it’s charm!

Loved my stay here. The staff was super friendly. Rooms were nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The vibe of the whole place is very cozy. Great location. Great value for the price I paid. Overall, highly recommended for any trip to Amsterdam.
