I arrived in the evening and was welcomed by a personal note on the door to call for check in. Within a minute I was greeted and I was settled in my clean room within 5 minutes. The sleeping area and bathroom were both clean and spacious. The view outside the back alley wasn't spectacular but I wasn't concerned as...

We booked an ensuite double room for 4 nights in May, the whole experience was really mixed. First, we arrived and really glad that the location of the hotel is great as it is super close to all the actions. But when we checked into our room on the top floor facing the street (after dragging our 30 kg luggage...

The staff at Amistad Hotel are super friendly, generous and helpful. From the first email I sent to Mike to the last day of our stay, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The new owner, Klaus, and Mike are great hosts and talented chefs! The daily breakfast was tasty, plentiful and provides lots of variety. Arriving at Central Station,...

I have visited Amsterdam 10 times over the last 11 years and always stayed in Hostels this was my first stay in a Hotel in Amsterdam. The welcome wasn't warm or friendly and not how I've been welcomed at Hotels in the past and a far cry from how I've been welcomed in Amsterdam in the past, by Hostels charging...

He prepares your a personalize breakfast from French toast, pancakes (crepes) eggs, omelets, fruit, meat cheese. Rooms are very cozy and very well maintained. You can't beat the location of this small hotel. Situated between the Prinsengracht and...

This was my 4th stay here and I just love the location and vibe of this area. I always book one of the serviced apartments just down the street and they are worth the extra few euros. I was in the top floor apartment this time and it was so spacious and comfortable, I could have stayed much longer. The...

We had a pretty nice time. The room was very small, but more on the cozy side, not claustrophobic. Breakfast is served in a kind of a big kitchen-lunch-room, where you sit to the table with other guests of the hotel. The guys running the place, which also make the breakfast every morning, were very nice and made sure we...

This is the second time I have stayed here, albeit the last was 10 years ago. Again the staff was warm, welcoming and attentive. When my flights were cancelled Dikky went out of his way to help me come up with some alternatives. Everyone was always ready to make suggestions or point me in the correct direction.
