Beautifully modern hotel - friendly, positive and very helpful staff - great atmosphere. From the lobby with it's ambient atmosphere to the comfortable, quiet room - it met our needs as we were there to sleep and spend the days sightseeing. The location was brilliant - close to everything - 3 min walk to the museums, designer shops, cafes, and...

Very happy with our 2 day stay here for the European Athletics. Placed right next to the museums, and 5 mins walk from the Liedesplein. All staff, without fail, were friendly and welcoming. However Andre stood out and helped us specifically. The hotel's own bike hire was just €15 a day so we took advantage of that, though you have...

On arrival we upgraded our room, and it was lovely; very spacious with a lovely bathroom which had a spa bath and TV! Very interesting artwork throughout the hotel. The staff were all extremely helpful and pleasant, and the one dinner we had was good, although only being a small hotel, the choice was limited. The honesty bar is a good...

We stayed here for three nights while visiting Amsterdam. The location was great, the staff was friendly and very helpful, and the room was comfortable. Our booking came with breakfast, which was really great. An added bonus is that the room came with a Nespresso machine. Highly recommend.

This is a small hotel that is very quiet and restful. Andre and the other team members at the front desk were very helpful. The place is clean and comfortable in the museum district, close to tram lines yet feels slightly urban residential. Do yourself a favor and rent a bike here.

We loved our stay at Hotel JL No76. They treated us like family. They were so helpful with directions, restaurant suggestions, getting us a cab and were so friendly. Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
