Detailed Reviews
My room was so comfortable and modern from the 'smart pad' on the wall upon entry, allowing you to control: privacy, lights, air con, housekeeping requests, nightlight, reading lights etc, to the smart interior layout of the room making great use of all available space. The decor was sumptuous with it's wooden wall panelling and sophisticated colours. Fully tiled floors throughout, separate toilet and shower cubicles fully tiled......and the bed......and the pillows....soooooo comfortable, had my best sleep in years, like sleeping on a cloud. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and really happy to help in any way. I have now booked two further stays totalling a month in May and July. Location is extremely good for visiting my family in Rembrandt park, but also really handy for trams and metro directly into the city centre. Although on this occasion I did not use the restaurant, as I was with my family at their flat on Rembrandt park each day for meals, the restaurant/dining area looked very pleasant indeed. I would definitely recommend the Met without any hesitation at all.

Stayed with Met hotel Amsterdam for a week and had a great experience. The room was quite small and the toilet was in the middle of the room which led to it not being that private when going. However this was the only downsite during our stay at the hotel. They had great service minded staff, and a breakfast where they offered freshly cooked mini pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon (if you visit the breakfast late there is a risk of something missing). Breakfast is not included when you book your stay but it is definitely worth paying for. The hotel is located not far from the heart of Amsterdam and it takes you 10-15 minutes by bike to get there, bike rental is available at the hotel, however for a better price just walk towards the closest bike rental shop (not even more than 1 minute away) to rent bike(s).

A modern and fresh hotel! The staff very friendly and warm, always a smile and ready to help in any way possible.
Our room was quiet, dark and with a perfect temperature , thanks to air condition.
Comfortable beds, a fantastic shower with a good water pressaure. Nice cleaning.
The restaurant served delicious food, the plating was magic! Both for the mouth and eyes!
At first we missed a small fridge in the room to be able to cool drinks, when needed. But then we discovered the vending machine with drinks and snacks, next to the reception! “ Grab and go” , just pay by card and take the chilled drinks you want to bring to your room.
We want to thank everyone in the staff - in the reception, the cleaners , the chefs in the kitchen as well as those who served us in the restaurant!
Thanh you all!
Very satisfied guests

We stayed at the Met Hotel for a few nights on a short break. The hotel is easily reached from the Schipol via the metro in around 30 mins. Set at the bottom of a 1960's (looking) apartment block the hotel appears slightly basic from the outside.
Inside however is a completely different story with a beautifully designed central bar and restaurant more reminiscent of the Hoxton or others in a similar vein. The rooms are all situated off a long corridor next to reception and were also exceptionally modern, immaculately presented and well designed. My only addition here would be a full length mirror.
The staff were super friendly and welcoming, helping us with bookings and travel advice getting into town (a 25 min journey via bus or tram nearby). Bikes are also available from the hotel or a bike hire place over the road.

Amazing modern rooms and great service from staff in all areas of the hotel. The hotel is around a 10 minute walk from Lelylaan Station, which means it is a short train ride to the centre of Amsterdam and to the airport. I would recommend staying at the Met as even though it is out of the city centre, it is very easy to travel between the areas and worth it for the price of the hotel. Would definitely visit again!

Excellent hotel, clean and spacious rooms, tea/coffee maki g facilities but had to constantly ask for more tea bags as only left one per day. Friendly helpful staff, easy to get into the city centre but quiet location.
Would benefit from having a mini fridge in room and having a price available for breakfast as certainly not worth the €14.50 each

We were pleasantly surprised at the great quality of the hotel for the price we paid. It was the Dutch Grand Prix weekend so alot of places were overpriced. The hotel is in a very quiet residential area and there is a Lidl across the road. The hotel was only renovated two years ago and feels very new. Rooms are a 'unique' layout but good. We stayed in a room with a window to the front which was great. The beds were great, shower fantastic and lovely and clean. Staff were very friendly from taking our luggage early, checking us in, ordering food and drinks and to check out. It was a super experience. We didnt have breakfast in the hotel so cannot comment but bar food in the evening was very nice. You do need a travel ticket to get around. Metro is 4 mins from the front of the hotel (30 mins to Centraal) and 17 tram is 7 mins behind it (16 mins to Dam square). Once we figured it out, we might have well being in the centre.
Overall, a great experience, very comfortable, welcoming and would recommend if you didnt mind using the tram to get around.

Having arrived by train from Brussels, at Amsterdam Centraal Metro station, I needed to purchase a transport card and then take a metro train to the Postjesweg where there is a 5 - 10 min walk to the hotel. This hotel is located in the most unusual residentail area, across the road from the metro station there is a shopping area with a good variety of shops, supermarkets, and cafes and bakeries including a Lidl. One can self checkin but I was kindly checked in by a bar staff member and my very comfortable room was at the end of the coridor. This is a new and very cool, nicely decorated hotel. The room is spacious and modern and the bed arge and combortable. Its a great hotel room! I had breakfast booked and that was lovely too, enough variety with hot and cereal, bread/pastry options. There is a bar and cafe area (which I suspect services the local neighbourhood for any casual dining & bar. There is some outdoor seating also and this will improve once the works have finished in the adjoining park. I ordered a hot dish from the restaurant one night (truffle mushroom pasta) and it was absolutely delicious. The staff kindly packed it up and delivered it to my room
The location is also a 10 minute walk from Lelyane metro station which has a bar/resturant nearby should you want alternative choice.
It is quiet and a really good value, lovely hotel out from the centre of Amsterdam. The staff are very helpful and they were happy to store my bag after checkout. Highly recommend and would stay here again.
