Great location near museums, walking distance from tram stops with access to centre. Friendly staff. Reasonable breakfast but limited hot options. Room was small but nicely presented and well equipped; everything worked.

Excellent location of the hotel with a friendly staff!!!!!! Nice decor of the hotel along with spacoius rooms. Breakfast was good, but it could have had a little more variety. I would stay again and again.

This is a marvelous hotel that felt like a home away from home. The staff was so courteous, friendly and helpful. The hotel was immaculate, the breakfast extensive, healthy and delicious. The location was perfect, minutes from museums, shops and restaurants, and on a quiet street.

this is a great hotel, with excellent staff and most facilities. It is very well located, near to a tram stop and yet is in a very quiet part of town. It is still very handy to see many of the best places in Amsterdam. The hotel does not have a restaurent, but serves a good breakfast. The shower in... More

This hotel has the perfect location for a quick drive to/from the airport and for visiting the nearby museums during a short stay. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were comfortable. The food was nothing special, but there are plenty of good restaurants in the area for an alternative. Construction of the street... More

Excellent location and friendly staff. Close to all the attractions, especially the Van Goh and Rijks Museum. Available reservation for popular tours at the lobby. Fair breakfast, when requested in advance.

The hotel is nice. The location is great - it's not in the city center (where the canals are) but frankly, that's for the best. The walls are so thin that you can hear everything going on in the hallway and outside - conversations, doors closing, sneezes. If it was in the center, you'd never get to sleep. The staff... More

This was our first hotel after taking the red-eye from the USA. It is a very nice, quiet neighborhood in the area of the museums. The staff are simply wonderful, very very helpful. Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
