Really liked this hotel. Check in and out was quick, the room and washroom were very clean and the location was excellent. Yes the rooms are small and washroom is separated by a frosted glass door. There is also carpet on the walls lol Staff...More
Very clean hotel and in an excellent location. The staff were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome...we were even able to check in early. Breakfast was really good with some hot choices too (the scrambled egg was fantastic!) The Air conditioning was a...More
Good hotel in excellent location, but bedroom too small for two people, virtually tripping over each other. Beds right up to the far wall with the television. Did not like the layout and the glass partition to the bathroom. Room nice and quiet.
Great hotel central to all the major tourist destinations. We were here for 2 days and the room was clean with enough room for my husband and I. The hotel staff were very friendly and were very helpful with all the questions we had. The...More

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

Anne Frank house is not too far from the hotel. You can walk, take a taxi, or take the tram.
We paid €68 for a taxi from the hotel to the airport; my expat sister days that around €40 would have been more reasonable.
We got checked in around noon. I think if there are (cleaned) rooms available, they could let you check in early. Otherwise, "park" your luggage there & walk around the neighborhood for food - there are lots of restaurants... More
