From the moment you step in, you're charmed. It's cosy, very well-maintained, and the staff are adorable. The rooms are fresh, floral, just the way we like them. The fabrics and colours all around the hotel are a real treat for the eyes. We enjoyed hanging out in the lobby/sitting room area during the day, and by the bar in the evenings. The cocktails were good, and the tea-coffee self-service table is also such a nice gesture in a city where you can feel cold some days even in July. Singel straat is also so well-placed for shopping and eating and drinking out.

We really loved this place. The elegant ambiance of a canal home was perfect. It showed its age - by that was part of the ambiance. We mentioned it was our 39th anniversary and there was a lovely box of candy on our bed when we returned after a long day. . They had refreshing mint water and a tea time each after afternoon. It was easy to book a set price transport to the airport. The limousine was a pleasant way to end our trip.

We stayed at Estherea for two nights as part of our honeymoon trip. The hotel is centrally located and has a beautiful, unique and eclectic decor. A signature scent hits you right away when you enter the lobby, which is very pleasant. The hotel was seemingly occupied and the reception area was busy, but the staff felt welcoming and always available. Our standard room was small but cosy, quite to my taste. There was a decent sized bed and a small seating area with coffee and tea making possibility. The decor was clearly hand-picked and made of high quality materials. The sound insulation is not perfect, but this is something to consider before booking, as the building is quite old. All in all Estherea is a lovely and comfortable boutique hotel with a luxurious interior and we enjoyed our stay. Perhaps, a small greeting card or complimentary drink would be a nice touch as we were just got married and were on our honeymoon (we let this know ahead), but we booked a basic option so this is not something that can be expected.

This is my dream hotel: beautiful and comfortable, with attentive service, good location, luxurious rooms with every amenity. Ideal for receiving a friend for tea or drinks in one of the many cozy corners. Rooms are tastefully and luxuriously outfitted with high-quality materials. Small but important detail: Best pillows I ever found (no need for my neck pillow). In short: pure pleasure in an exceptional decor.
