We all enjoyed our stay. All the staff we met were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had a Junior suite on the 16th floor with a view over the Amstelkanaal. Room was was clean and comfortable including complimentary slippers and bath-robes Buffet style breakfast was included in our package and we thought it was very good, plenty...

This is one of the best hotels from a service standpoint that I've stayed at, and this coming from a very frequent, hotel snob. No surprise, it is a deluxe-class Japanese-run hotel which makes service (and cleanness) a top priority. Upon arriving after a long flight from Washington, DC, despite the early check-in time, I was accommodated with a great...

We stayed there about a week ago. The hotel itself is beautiful & with beautiful surrounds. The room was nice & clean with a good view. The bathroom was especially nice, with separate shower & bath. The staff were lovely & there were even staff to open & close the taxi doors for us. We didn't use the hotel's restaurant,...

I have stayed at the Okura several times the last few years in connection to work. They have excellent facilities and everything works well - the strange thing is that for me this is a hotel that I sort of "do not remember" - the hotel does not have any features that I remember in particular - the only thing...

We recently stayed at Hotel Okura, good rooms, great food, wonderful service. Bit out of town, but travel was easy using the trams, which are very close by. Parts of the decor in the room were a little tired, but that's hotels for you. I would recommend. Great spa and gym. All made for a wonderful weekend.

Really great hotel. We got upgraded on arrival and the room was amazing. The bath and shower were very relaxing. Only issue is about extra costs for gym/leisure centre use but we knew this before we arrived. A further issue for others may be the distance from the centre but this worked well for us as we hired bicycles and...

We had a superior room (i.e. standard) and it was very good indeed. The bathroom was excellent and the room very comfortable indeed. There was very little noise from the passageway and none from other rooms or outside (floor 13). We were really impressed by all the staff we met, from the young bell boy who greeted us and the...

In overall it's okay, clean, tidy and up to the standards. Quick access to the airport on public transportation, and the sky bar is kind of a highlight. The price is reasonable and couldn't blame too much for that. However it is still not too much in a good location. You still have to walk a long way to the...

Dear Calvin L, Thank you for sharing your recent experience with us. Nice to hear that you liked our location in reference to the airport and you had a good time in the bar on the 23rd floor. We regret to hear that the neighbourhood was not entirely to your liking. Being located in the south of the centre, we...

On a recent trip away we decided to have a few days in Amsterdam. Being quite into our food we looked for a hotel with something special. Well Michelin stars are said to be special so if it has two for one restaurant and one for each of its others it must be. We flew in to Schiphol airport from...

Our cruise line (AMA Waterways) booked us into the Hotel Okura at the end of our Rhine River cruise and it was a real treat to stay at such a lovely 5 star location. We ate in the Michelin rated dining room and were delighted with both the service and the food. The location, overlooking a picturesque canal, was ideal...
