Hotel Nova is very convenietly placed, in the nearest position to Dam. Around Dam there is all the action that you need, but hotel Nova is not loud. In fact, quite opposite. You'll get a good night sleep there. Reception efficient, but not too friendly. There is wifi available free of charge, but don't be surprised if you loose the...

A short time ago I stayed at their gorgeous apartaments in the Museumplein area and I liked it so much to make me decide to come back and visit again the city! Because of the cheaper price and the more central location I choosed the Nova Hotel instead of the apartament and I can say at 100% it's been (again)...

The hotel is only 15 mins walk from the station. 5 mins away from the Dam. Located right behind of Amsterdam Museum which you can easily find the hotel when you are half way shopping and feeling tired just hop back to the hotel and rest. Very convenient to get food and drinks where supermarket is just couple mins away...

I travelled to Amsterdam on my own for Christmas and couldn't have asked for a better location at the back of the Palace on Dam Square. Lovely, clean, spacious room on ground floor. Breakfast good enough to keep you going for a few hours. I would recommend this hotel to others.

We have just returned from a family break to Amaterdam. The Nova was great, ans surpassed our expectations. We had 2 rooms on the 3rd floor, both were really nice and spacious. The beds are so comfortable! The staff were efficient and courteous, breakfast was just right. Many thanks for a great stay, hope to stay here again.

The location is excellent and the room was quite comfortable. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was adequate--decent continental but not the Kempinski or Le Meridien, of course. Free Wifi was great. I'd for sure stay there again.

I first stayed at the Nova Hotel maybe 10 years ago and have stayed a few times since. normally, I check it, but almost always it's booked. Recently, my wife and I were able to stay for a night as we passed through Amsterdam on business. Not much has changed over the years, the hotel is still clean, is central,...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
