This hotel was well located and had a modern vibe throughout. The rooms were small but very clean. Breakfast was a simple buffet but there was good choice. If you are looking for a central hotel at a reasonable price then this will suit. The...More

We stayed in many rooms across Europe over 4 weeks and found that this hotel had the smallest room. Having said that, the location was great as we simply got off the train and walked around 200 metres to the hotel (watch out for the...More
It is what it is when you stay in an Ibis. Excellent location but you are between platforms 1 and 2 although sound proofing is good.
Tiny rooms. Tiny bathroom. Really basic- don't expect to make a cup of tea in the morning for instance....More

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

Yes we did all them things in question and with the train and tram station being a 2 min walk from the hotel it's ideal! I would advise that when you land and walk out the airport to buy a 3 day train tram and bus pass it's about €28 but well worth it. We walked to the ice bar and Anne Frank's house but got the tram back cause we did a lot of walking! Also book tickets for Anne Frank's house online as when we walked out of it the people that didn't book was queuing for about 1 hour!! Crazy!
