Clean, central, friendly and polite team. This hotel is perfectly located beside the train station and central Amsterdam. Our room was above the train tracks but we could not hear a sound, so peaceful. We never ate in the hotel but we had drinks and they were fine.
Loved my stay here. Price was right. Bed was very comfortable. Room was super quiet and I was overlooking Amsterdam proper. Good amenities in the lobby for getting a snack or full meal. Front desk was super helpful hunting down a bandaid for me. Fast service at checkin and checkout. Will absolutely stay again.
Fairly decent budget accommodation. Check-in and out were easy. Had a great view of Amsterdam Centraal and across the lake to the A'Dam Lookout. Very convenient for getting around and decent food at the bar/restaurant in the lobby. There was also a place to grab snacks and odds and ends if you weren't interested in purchasing a full meal. The room was small but clean. The bed was just a thin mattress on top of a platform that kept sliding off but was at least comfortable when it stayed in place. Not much in the way of storage but its not meant to be someplace you stay for a week+
i just want to thank zakaria and gideon they are good employees in the ibis hotel i really appreciate there welcome and they are good welcomeing thank for the stuff really i appreciate that guys i hope to come again and see you again
Very good all round even though they were having alterations done on the ground floor area the staff were very helpful and willing. A very young team at reception who explained everything with a smile. The room was over the station & looked out over the grand canal very picturesque not to noisy but trains don’t run all night so not a problem. We picked a twin bed room which meant the bed together was 6’ wide a good ploy if you are fed up of asking for a double only to find out there dbl is only 4’, nice toppers on mattresses made then more than comfortable . Tv remote didn’t work so a bit of hard work fiddling under screen to get channels working. Would stay again nice central location
DO NOT stay at Ibis Amsterdam Centre! At the reception one lad checked all our passports and booking numbers and just left, he behaved inappropriately, arrogant and disrespectful attitude!!!the room was so humid it was very disgusting to be in. the window was so fogged up and we got sick!! our requests to do something were completely ignored by the hotel team!! The team were very useless and arrogant!!! DISAPPOINTED!!! The worst hotel we be ever been, stuff not professional, I don’t recommend to any one!!!! Please DO NOT BOOK This disgusting hotel!!!!
The worst hotel by far rooms very small, stuff not professional, rooms doesn’t have any thing like normal hotel rooms, I don’t recommend to any one, I want to leave hotel but cant find any other hotel cos the new year and all hotels are fully booked
Great location, in the center of Amsterdam, within 2 minutes walk from Amsterdam Central Station platforms, less than 5min from Red Light Zone. The room is very cozy and clean and the staff is very friendly. The view from the river is incredible. I highly recommend!
Loved the location & room was well equipped too. Couldn’t fault that. I found the staff to be really friendly from checking in/ out, using the storage room and also supplying extra towels. All was done with a smile and was no trouble at all! Would definitely stay again. Only thing if I was really fussy… bacon and pork sausages at breakfast:-)
Arrived to find our room was twin although our booking was a double. The sheet had stuff stuck all over it. Went down to reception to get ignored finally got a response and got told to push the beds together and they would replace the cover. Apart from that the stay was ok as didn’t spend any time in hotel except to sleep.
