It's great hotel as it's near the Central station & it's great location to different sites in the City. Breakfast is continental but need to accommodate hot drinks, a few more eggs or sausages till 10am which the Manager was happily provided when we ask nicely but one of the staff are a bit rude & doesn't want to provide....

Myself and my friends stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and we didn't have one bad thing to say about it. The staff were very helpful when we asked them about anything and it was close to tram stops. The room was cleaned everyday that we stayed there. It is a very peaceful area of Amsterdam which was great...

We visited this hotel as a group of 11 for a hen party. The hotel was approx 15 min drive from the airport and approx a 15min walk to Leidseplein where we spent most of our time in bars/restaurants. Other areas of interest that we visited were a bit further away and we used a taxi to get there but...

I went here with me and around 10 others. The hotel was not expensive and was only around a 25 minute walk to the centre of Amsterdam. The receptionists were very polite and had a great sense of humor, they was very informative and helped us a lot with what to do in Amsterdam. The rooms are a tad basic...

Nice friendly hotel very small rooms but as a base to visit the city it's not bad. About a 20 min walk from dam square so not too bad. Tram stop is a 2 min walk away but I would use uber taxi rather then the city one as Uber is better value to get round the city

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
