We booked via booking dot com and so this hotel was an unknown both in terms of its location and the quality of the hotel.

Stayed here for five nights on vacation with a friend. The room was simple without frills, but was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful with assisting in directions and advice. There was always delicious cold lemon and mint water in the lobby which...More
Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights/4 days with my boyfriend in mid June. The hotel was gorgeous, very clean and had comfortable beds. Location was good, there was a bus stop less than 2 mins from the hotel that went straight from the hotel...More
My wife and I loved our five days at this lovely hotel. All of the staff seemed happy to work there and happy to help their guests. The breakfast was great. This location is relatively quiet, which suited us well. We were in easy walking...More

Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.

Regarding transportation to and from the airport, we used Bus#197 which is easily caught right outside the airport doors. It drops you off about a 7 minute walk from the hotel (about 5 blocks). Very convenient.
