I was a little worried after seeing the negative reviews on here, but i shouldn't have been. i booked this hotel through a booking.com sale for half price, (£170 for 3 nights) for my boyfriend's birthday trip to Amsterdam. We stayed in room 28, a double ensuite. First of all, if you want luxurious decor, this isn't the hotel for...

Me and my family stayed in this hotel for 3 days. Great location walking distances to Ann Franks house, Dam Square and the markets. The room was small and old the breakfast was nothing to be happy about. The only thing I could say that was great about this room was the people were extremely nice and the bed so...

This was the worst service I have ever experienced! We booked for 5 beds and they only made up 4. Here was a sofa bed which we had to pull out and then when we asked if the bed could be made we were told by the manager that he didn't know how to make a bed. We said we...

I've been to Amsterdam 7 times in the past and this is the best hotel I have stayed in. It's basic but the price reflects this. You don't go on holiday to stay in the hotel so everything we needed was there. Breakfast was great, and we informed the staff that we were vegan and they went out to get...

Great location for the hotel near the centre. You can hire bikes from the hotel as well which is very useful. However the wifi is good but doesn't reach the top floor. Breakfast is simple but decent as are the rooms which can get a bit hot as they only have one fan.

Where to start.. Location wise it was perfect! Just off the first Amsterdam Canal. And far enough away from all the youts getting high for the first time. Receptionist was a weed connoisseur and knew the best places to smoke round town. Even told us where Oceans 11 was filmed. Stairs.. Bit too steep for our liking. But that's probably...

We went to Amsterdam to visit the new Rijks (we had not been there since they had renovated the museum. We picked this hotel because of its location -- on a canal and a very short walk to the trolly lines from Central Station and to the Museums. The staff was excellent in advising us of restaurants close by, etc....

When we got to the hotel we had to wait over an hour as the receptionist (basil faulty) was dealing with customers. Little did we know the queue consisted of people getting their money back or changing rooms. After all the palava we went to our room. Oh boy !! We had to walk up four very long flights of...

This is a quaint little hotel right next to the flower market. It is within walking distance to most major sites and museums. The hotel itself is old, but very well kept. Our room was large by European standards with a bigger than normal bathroom. Breakfast was very good - fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, cereal, assorted pastries, cheese and...

It's worth because of the price and location, just to sleep and have breakfast. Comfortable bed and temperature but bathroom was not nice, ugly and dirty carpet. Narrow corridors. Breakfast was enough, there's a guy refilling bacon, eggs and toasts, there're also juices.
