Really great little hotel near central station in Amsterdam, took us about 10mins to walk to from the station, including a wrong turn!! The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The room is delightful with a beautiful view over the canal. Wifi worked great and the breakfast was tasty....as we're the cocktails! Would recommend to everyone for anyone looking for...

Excellent stay. All staff very helpful and engaging. Less than 10 walk to central station and 5 minute walk to anne franks museum. Located on a canal. Complimentary breakfast. Nice cosy bar downstairs. Staff arranged some trips for us. A tip- Book anne frank house when you book accommodation. Also book van gogh museum in advance.

Hotel is a typical Dutch style house with spiral staircases. Our room was very clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel offered a continental breakfast as a gift to guests. We arrived before check in time and as our room was ready we were allowed to check in straight away.

I went to Amsterdam last week I'm a big fan of small boutique hotels. Max brown was so cool quaint and unique. Kimberly made me the best espresso martini each night , Tom was extremely helpful with questions and ideas. Jessie was cool too. The morning breakfast was perfect . Perfect the highlight of our trip. Made us feel comfortable....

This was a nice find. For a family of four, they put us in a first level apartment (King bed from two twins and pull our sofa sleeper) next to the main building. The room was clean and the bathroom was spacious. The room itself was tight with the sleeper bed set up. The staff was very friendly. The main...

The only thing about the hotel was location and the Staff. The rooms are extremely small. Our friends were given a room with no windows in it.Our room had a shower and seperate toilet. The shower room was really smelly and you had to keep the door shut because of it.The toilet was so small if you sat down on...

Dear Friendsaway2017, Good to hear you enjoyed the hotels perfect location for exploring Amsterdam & our crew made it memorable. All of our rooms are on the smaller side as we are situated in a 16th century canal house and the building comes with a lot of charm however this also means the some of our rooms are compact, we...

Just returned from a lovely weekend break in Amsterdam. Stayed at Max brown for 2 nights. The receptionists were the best I have ever encountered in a hotel! Amazing. Lovely boutique bed and breakfast. Our room was up the stairs, but all the quirks added to the charm of the hotel. We had 2 beds as we had our daughter...

I recently visited Max Brown Canal District as a part of a group of 2 travelers. Out of the 6 of us, two couples purchased canal rooms while I chose to book a standard room because it was listed as being larger. The rooms were all very cozy, clean & comfortable (though very small.) Of the two canal rooms booked...
