The hotel is located in a great location. It is within walking distance of all the main attractions, yet in a an area which is quite quiet. However, it can get a little loud if you keep your window open throughout the night and have a room facing the canal. We stayed in the Mae West room which is the...

My husband and I came here to stay on our first trip to Amsterdam and were greeted with a very warm welcome from Mary, Ernest and Anika. Mary's breakfast was fantastic. Made to feel very welcome and had comfortable surroundings. Very clean and friendly couldnt help enough, gave us lots of info on sights to see etc. Look forward to...

We stayed here for 3 nights at the start of our trip around Europe. really enjoyed Amsterdam and staying here was a real bonus for us. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance and being almost half way between the 2 squares was handy at drinks time. We stayed in the Charlie Chaplin room and had a great...

We had a lovely stay. The Charlie Chaplan room had plenty of room for the three of us. It also had a beautiful view of the canal. The location was excellent. You can walk to most of the sights. The tram is located nearby if you need to go further away. The owners gave very good advice. The breakfast was...

Stayed seven nights, first on the garden side and then on the canal side. Very clean and comfortable. The shared toilet and shower were also clean and well kept. Breakfasts are excellent. Ernst's restaurant recommendations were perfect. You're away from the really touristy areas like Dam square, but everything is within a fifteen minute walk. But pack a small suitcase...

We walked straight past this hotel at first - a tiny black door that you had to bend to enter. Original old canal house converted into small hotel, run by the family. Wonderful breakfast - best thing was all the guests ate at same large table, so you met other travellers and chatted to them, which was very interesting. Room...

Having read a number of reviews and the extremely high ranking on this site I didn't hesitate to request a room reservation as part of a surprise of a 3 night break in Amsterdam for my partner's birthday. When we arrived at our pre-arranged time at Hotel Keizershof we had a bizarre introduction in that we were told someone by...

We had a similar to experience to several other reviewers of the Keizershof in that when we arrived there was some confusion over our room. Another guest had been placed in our room (which by the way had a shared bathroom which we weren't aware of on booking...) but with what seemed like minimal hassle we were told we could...

This is one of the best B&B we have ever stayed in. We knew nothing of Amsterdam and this was a good choice. We wanted an authentic stay in an original building in the historic Amsterdam style. The place is beautiful and comfortable and you won't get any more authentic than the Hotel Keizreshof. The food was terrific and the...

Hotel Keizershof is a wonderful and fairly inexpensive way to see Amsterdam. The owner is charming and the staff is very capable. Our room was spacious and quaint with a fabulous view of the canal. Wonderful breakfasts in a family setting. One of the best omelets I've ever eaten. It is situated perfectly no matter what you want to do...
