As mentioned in previous comments, the stairs are steep and rooms are on 3rd& 4th floor, but staff carried our luggage up and down so not too much of a problem. Room was small but adequate, and was clean and the decor was airy. Because we were on the top floor there was only a skylight so no view. Coffee...

Lovely hotel for a city break. The location is fantastic, it is easy to get around the city. We chose to walk however, the trams or cycling seemed just as popular for other visitors. The hotel reception has a lovely airy welcoming atmosphere and the reception staff were very friendly, helpful and full of useful tips. The rooms are absolutely...

The hotel is in a perfect location to be able to walk to all the main attractions in Amsterdam. The rooms are quite small but very clean and comfortable ( the hairdryer is not that great). The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast room is very quaint and wide variety of choice available to eat. Coffee/tea available 24...

Amsterdam is very expensive place to stay at the centre of city. But we had to stay there for our short stay so that we can walk around and explore the main attractions. Luckily 90% of my luggage I had locked at airport locker else the Long narrow steep stairs and luggage would make an awful combo. Rooms small, beds...

Stayed three nights in rather small but comfortable room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Their common areas are lovely, good breakfast and 24 hr access to coffee/tea. Stairs are very steep, appreciated help getting our luggage up.

When reading the other reviews, I dismissed the comments about the steep stairway -- I thought, how bad can it be? I am 62 and pretty fit, and it was not an obstacle for me, but it could be a problem for people. I was glad my room was on the second floor of the hotel and not higher! Otherwise,...

We spent 3 days and 2 nights at this delightful hotel located in a 200 year old building near the center of Amsterdam. The room was clean and comfortable with all the extras we wanted: flat screen TV, in-room safe, nice towels, 2 plugs for electronics on each side of the bed, free wi-if, great rainfall and hand-held shower, fridge,...

The staff of this small hotel in a great location near Westerkerk gave us a warm welcome and made us feel relaxed and at home. Historic building with modern reno, very clean, and a generous breakfast made our stay exactly right.

We stopped in Amsterdam for the night and this hotel is centrally located and an easy walk from the train station. You can easily walk to all the attractions you want to see. The only downside is the hotel is on a busy street and does not offer much of a view. The price is great for what you get...
