I was really concerned about staying at this place having read all the reviews on here! But I have to say, weighing everything up it was good value and I would stay here again. Hotels are expensive in Amsterdam so I think for the Waterfront you are really paying for the location. It is in a fantastic central location which...

It was our second visit to this hotel and this time we had a room on the top floor with a tremendous view over the Singel Canal. Yes, the stairs are very steep and there are a lot of them to the top floor but this is what it is like in any value hotel in Amsterdam. Anyway, you only...

Stayed at this hotel with 2 friends, for my 21st. Location was good apart from the fact we got lost everynight lol Rooms where clean, staff where friendly. The only thing that was a bit of a problem was we where on the top floor and the stairs where so steep but this is not the hotels fault it is...

I am an artist and travels a lot in my work. After 30 years of travelling, this is without doubt the absolute worst hotel I`ve ever seen!!! It was a fire trap! In case of a fire you would have no chance what so ever to get out! The service was pretty much like "Basil" in Fawlty Towers only in...

I was quite concerned after reading some of the poor reviews on TA prior to my visit, but this hotel was absolutely fine! We ended up arriving later than planned due to travel complications, but the staff kept the reception open for us and explained how we could get the tram from Centraal Station to the hotel (it's about four...

This is the WORST hotel ever - strong recommendation not to stay here. We’ve travelled a lot in Europe lately and booked hotels on Expedia a number of times but this was an absolute nightmare of a place. In fact we moved out of the hotel and stayed in another place. The hotel is absolutely filthy - the room and...

This is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in and I have been all over the world. It stinks like pee pee, the rooms are small, everything is broken in the room, we were eaten alive by mosquitos at night, the breakfast was horrible! The stairs to the rooms are straight up - like the ladder on a...

We reserved 2 rooms for 3 adults via www.hotels.nl for 2 nights during the weekend march 27-29. One of the conditions of the reservation is to telephone the hotel if you will check-in after 16.00 hrs on day of arrival. This we did this on 2 occasions: the day before and the morning of arrival. When we arrived we were...

An excellent location – 10 minutes from almost everywhere. Typical 70s decor. The bed linen and towels were pristine and the bed was good quality and comfortable but the rest was shabby and room 5 had not been renovated as the web listing says. Room was small but no smaller than you might expect for a 2*, the shower room...
