It is a very cosy hotel just around 1-2 min walk away from the closest tram stop. The staff is welcome, friendly and fluent in English. The room was clean and tidy and had most amenities needed. We did not have a kettle to make some tea, but one can go in the reception anytime and have a hot drink...

The staff were incredibly helpful and happy to answer all our questions. The room was a good size, our friends stayed at a hotel on the same street and said our room was much nicer. It was a good location in regards to the tram station, restaurants and bars.

Aside from the excellent location, good WiFi, good heating, cleanliness, etc..., the staff was oh-my-god-you-can't-be-that-nice kind of people. They helped with tips, reservations, offered much needed warm drinks anytime of the day in the receptions, and they basically did make our stay that much more pleasant. Definitely my go-to place when i visit Amsterdam again

Hotel La Boheme is very convenient to a tram/canal stop (a few hundred meters, tops, from each). The staff was very friendly both days and even had a New Years treat for us! Only concern was the steep, narrow staircase -- staying on the top floor was a bit of a trek. Also, their cat is super cool.

This was our first trip to Amsterdam (myself and my partner) and I'm really glad I decided to pick Hotel La Boheme. Location wise (Leidseplein) close to Rijksmuseum’s and hundreds of shops just around the corner. Personally, I didn't hear any external noise only the occasional internal in the mornings. Cleanliness/Decor: I found the hotel very clean, no complaints. The...

All the hotel cleaners did was changing towels and fixing beds. Cat's hair got all over my food. Breakfast was very very simple and I felt that the cleanliness of the plates, utensils, and cups was not great. It was very unclear where to put plates and utensils after finished using. I am afraid that I may have used someone's...

In Amsterdam one expects to be confronted by steps and stairs and this hotel is no exception, but despite being in our mid seventies we managed the steep stairs to the third floor. A member of staff took our luggage to our room and it was brought down when we left. Breakfast is from 8 to 11am, but can be...

We really enjoyed our stay in Amsterdam. If you don't expect luxury in a hotel, this location will perfectly suit your needs. It is in the Leidseplein area, and there are numerous bars, restaurants, nightclubs within a couple minutes walking distance. This was my first time in Amsterdam, and I loved every second of it. Wish I had stayed for...

Good location, near to tram stops. Staff extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly (including Mimi the cat.) Tasty breakfast everyday and free tea/coffee during your stay. Really enhanced our holiday and we got some excellent advice on where to eat, where to go and how to get there. Will definitely stay again.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, in a triple room with two other friends, and I have nothing bad to say about it. Since we got to the Front Desk, the lady in charge was very welcoming and friendly. She gave us some maps and marked the main spots to visit in the city. The room was very...
