On a quiet comfortable street, Nicolaas Witsin is just a few easy walking blocks from the Rijksmuseum and a couple more blocks to the hub-bub of the Leidsplein. The location is great, even to walk after dark. Hotel staff is super friendly. The room I had (for three) was Euro-small but not bad for a place to sleep and shower....

An ideal location, friendly and exceptionally helpful staff, the highest standards of cleanliness, excellent continental breakfast. Very good value for money. I recommend this hotel without reservation and when I return to Amsterdam I shall definitely stay here again!

I was them guest in 2005, 2006 and 2007. This hotel is not a big one, but really warm - you feel here at home. Is looking more like a family business; the building is old, furniture old style but rooms are clean and well maintained. Take care, they don't have them own parking, so the parking places from the...

If you're looking for lively nightlife and to sample some of the more dubious attractions of Amsterdam then this hotel is not for you, if not then this hotel has everything you need - en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, room safe, breakfast and a lift. Believe you me I struggled to find a hotel in Amsterdam with all my requirements - some...

I've stayed there for 4 nights... Seemed an honest deal, not to pricy but dar from cheapest. We had a room ar the ground floor, 5 m from reception, with lowest quality wi-fi possible. We requested for a solution, because this was one of the main criterias, but they did nothing to solve this issue. I also have to mention...

I doubted between 3 or 4 stars. I would give 3, but considering the price, location and what you get, I decided on 4. I think this hotel is a good choice if you want to stay in or near the center of Amsterdam (30 minute walk to Central Station, 10 minutes to the shopping center), but not want to...
