We stayed at Hotel Eureka for 4 nights and greatly enjoyed our trip. The Hotel was clean and functional, if a bit cramped, though that's the norm for Amsterdam.
The staff were friendly and we were given free breakfast on our first morning. The breakfast...More
We've stayed at The Eureka Hotel once which was fine however they also rent Houseboats and Apartments which are amazing! Walking around Amsterdam really takes it out of you and putting your feet up in a houseboat on a canal right in the middle of...More

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

Yes there is, but we were in the family suite next to the hotel. And it was dirty, smelly and toilet didn't flush. We ended up staying in one room that's how bad it was. Advise you not to book there. Pay bit extra and book elsewhere. We went for my birthday group of 6 girls and I booked it.
