You get the real feel for Amsterdam here. But be aware this is an old canal house and as such has steep steps and limited space. But if you want a nice, clean room in an authentic setting next too the trams and downtown, there are few options better for the price. Beds were the best we have had in...

We wanted 4 rooms in the same hotel and the Townhouse Hotel seemed a decent choice. There were 6 of us, 3 with various health/mobile issues but nothing major. We were separated between 2 buildings! Two of the rooms were single and up in the attic. The stairs were horrendously steep and certainly wouldn't be legal in the UK. Rooms...

This hotel consist of 3 buildings in close proximity; so there's a reception and wee lounge/ breakfast area in 1 of them. The room I had initially been allocated, was very small and did not have a window (only a small one in the toilet). Bit too cramped and claustrophobic for me; especially since the weather was really warm too....

Not the worse room I ever had in Amsterdam. But certainly not the best one. Next to my bed was a pile of unused beds. And the shower kinda fell apart. But good internet. So now I can write this. Oh, and it smell like bleach.

Townhouse Hotel, which is really more of a modern Dutch B&B operated by the exceptionally knowledgeable Christian was a great value during our stay. Christian made sure we had information on how to gain access to the building prior to our arrival and even offered to upgrade us to a room with a view of the local canal. We politely...

Paid 111 euros for a single room with ensuite. I didn't expect the bed to actually be in the bathroom!! No windows - just a vent. No sound proofing & paper thin walls. Every small noise from above & to the side was amplified & funnelled into my bedroom/bathroom combi!!. I've never spent time inside but after my night at...

toilets and shower room were a bit incomfortable, the stairs too narrow, not good if you are taking a big suitcase. Everything was so little but just for sleeping is nothing else you need. Is not very good that the reception in other hotel and if its raining you are gonna get wet.

We booked Townhouse but was shown to another building when we checked in at ITC (the instruction was to check in at ITC), reason being Townhouse was fulled. Townhouse was booked partly for the view, and I did remembered that Townhouse cost more than ITC. The shower room was extremely small, too small for guys over 1.7m in our views....
