Not the best , it's a little rough around the edges not a very presentable place at all. Bed sheets were dirty so was the toilet which was shared , won't be returning to this hotel but Amsterdam itself is really good.

Strong Urine smell all around the bed, they were offended that we would suggest the room hadn't been cleaned properly, only gave us another room for the 3rd night and then it was right at reception where the staff member made loud noises all night long! If I could give zero stars I would

Two main things which will make me to avoid this place at all costs. 1. The staircase is so narrow (even after reading previous reviews i still didnt imagine how narrow it is) good luck with bring up or down anything apart from a backpack. Advice: Dont try to go up or down those stairs if you had few drinks...

Having been to Amsterdam many times over the years and always stayed in quality hotels, this trip was with the kids to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. Our group included me, my husband and kids at 17 yrs, 21 yrs and 25 yrs the latter three all paying for themselves, so this trip was to be more on a budget....

This hotel is on the Main Street near the train station, easy to find and amazing view from the room. This hotel isn't far from Dam square and it's only a 10 minute walk. The room had the basics but it was big enough for the stay. The room had a tv, sitting area and a basic wardrobe. The view...

Good hotel but it was really budget and as they say you get what you pay for. But if you want a budget hotel if you don't have a lot of money to spend it is perfect. It is close to the hop and on busses and boats and it was max 10 minutes to the flower garden really central!

Location is perfect very central and right next to dam square and central station Room is small but cozy and clean bathroom is not as small as other hotels of the same category Thr stairs are sooooo narrow(like most places in amsterdam) and pretty steep so if you have heavy lagguge it can be hectic

Stayed here with a group of four lads for one night. Room was small and relatively clean. No rats or bed bugs thankfully. Shower was clean and there was hot water. Reasonable price and a good location. Definitely not somewhere you would bring your girlfriend or go to as a couple. Also two flights of the steepest stairs I have...

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
