We totally made the right choice in staying at suite 259 Bed and Breakfast. Peter was wonderful and helped us plan an easy train trip out to Zaanse Schans to see the windmills. The breakfasts were memorable! The safari suite was two stories and had a jacuzzi tub, private balcony deck, stocked kitchen with drinks and snacks, two bathrooms, and...

We stayed 2 nights in May 2015 in the Suite Safari. Peter went so far out of his way to be helpful I can't thank him enough. He mapped out our entire journey back to the airport complete with train schedules. The morning we left we were too early for breakfast downstairs so he had entire breakfast brought to our...

The very steep stairs to the apartment and to the bedroom within it are typical of Amsterdam. The balcony outdoor sitting area outside the kitchen is lovely, and we did not have any street noise. The bed is comfortable, though we found the heavy comforter too hot. We asked for a sheet or a lighter blanket but did not get...

My wife and i stayed at Suites 259 Amsterdam for 7 days from 15 to 22 April and as a couple, we had the Suite Safari during our duration. We came to know of this place from Tripadvisor's forum. Our hosts, Mr Peter and Mr Aziz ( he's a Singaporean, like us ) take good care of us during our...

We were a family of 7 looking for a b&b for our 3 night stay in Amsterdam. We came to know about suite 259 and vondelview, recommended by a friend. We took 2 rooms in each place. The innkeepers were wonderful, pleasant hosts during our stay. They cook us great foods and provided good recommendations for eating out. The rooms...

Peter welcomed us like family! Our three night stay could not have been better. The suite was perfect. Little extras...wine, chocolates, flowers made the welcome that more special! The breakfasts that Eric prepared were outstanding! Having such wonderful hosts along with the beautiful setting made this the perfect welcome to our travels in Europe! I can't wait for my next...

Warm welcome and Peter was a very kind and genial host. Football crazy too. Our daughter was spoilt rotten throughout our stay and did not want to leave. An extra bed was provided at no charge. Great location, and unusual and tasty breakfasts - thank you Aziz.

We spent three nights at the hotel in April. We booked both rooms; the larger suite, Sahara, for us and our two children, and the smaller suite (Safari) for my parents-in-law who had flown to Amsterdam to meet us. What stood out for us most was the kindness and friendliness of our hosts; Peter, Aziz and Eric. My mother-in-law had...
