Just awful, felt like we were squatting. No lock on shower door, everywhere stinks, sink in room blocked and tv does not work. Don't bother!! Banging of doors at night as all stud walls and every door squeaks massively. Very poor quality hotel. You are paying for location only so worth going a bit further in the city for a...

The room wasn't great but it's good considering what we paid, it was clean and they made our beds and changed the towels everyday. We had to share toilet and shower with all the other rooms in the corridor, though I do have to say these two facilities didn't look specially clean. On the bright side, we could see the...

Whilst I would rate the facilities 5 star I have gave a 1 star due to the woman at reception. As stated 5 star facilities, as well as paper thin carpet with holes in going up to the rooms you will also be treated to regular holes in the floor, best described as rat homes. Upon entering your room you...

Of all the hotels in all the countries in all the world that I have visited I can confidently say that this is the worst one. It's like they truly have contempt for the guests and want them to feel unsafe and unclean. It is decorated with unclean, torn carpets and walls which haven't been painted for decades with cheaply...

Hotel has very good price, it has very good location inside city centre and very easily reachable to all locations. There was very small room only bed and one chair and you should stay only for a night sleep.

If your anyway into your hygiene and cleanliness don't stay here. One shower and one toilet per floor! Anyone and everyone can hear u! Place also stinks and not in a pleasant way, but atleast you can smoke dubbies on the balcony at the end of the corridor

Lots of mosquitos inside the room, the room is smelly, don't even want to stay in the room. The only good thing is very close to central station, just few minutes walk and many restaurants are nearby. Will not recommend this hotel!!!! Not worth for this price.

The hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the Amsterdam Centraal Station and thats what you're paying for really. The rooms can be crampy and the toilets are definitely filthy. The hotel owner needs to work on the cleanliness of the hotel for sure. The internet works fine in the lobby/reception and a bit dodgy in the rooms.

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
