We chose Le Quartier Sonang on the basis of many previous good reviews. What a great decision! Believe every good thing that's written on here. Our room (Chambre de Ville) lived up to our (high) expectations, as did breakfast. Location is excellent, less than 5 mins walk to tram stops and Lidl supermarket. Oki and Frank are two great guys and... More

I heard about this place through reading reviews from other travellers who had strongly recommended staying here and I must say our stay lived up to our high expectations that we had. Our room (The Kamar Bidadai) was modern and immaculate - the beds was extremely comfortable and we slept very well on our two night stay. The breakfast we... More

[close and quiet] Le Quartier Sonang is located just a 2 minute walk west of the crazily busy City Centre yet crossing that last canal seems to turn on the "quiet please" sign. [wonderful] Hosts Oki and Frank do a wonderful job of instructing first time visitors like us to navigate the maze of bikes, canals and pedestrians. They had... More

We loved Le Quartier Sonang and felt very lucky to stay there. We felt completely at home, thanks to the gracious hospitality and warm, genuine welcome we found. We have stayed at quite a few B&B's over many years of traveling and have rarely found one of such high quality. I would make a point of planning a trip around... More

Frank and Oki are the most gracious hosts. Their B&B was perfectly located within walking distance to everything. It was super clean and the room was so spacious. The morning breakfasts were spectacular. The bed was amazing and Frank and Oki were so generous with their attention to making our trip wonderful. Staying here is a must!

My wife and I have just spent 4 days in Amsterdam and we had a lovely stay at Le Quartier Sonang, home of Frank and Oki. What a great place. Everything was perfect, our room was lovely, the location is excellent and every day started with a super breakfast. However what really makes Le Quartier Sonang so special is the... More

Just returned last week from a 3 night stay at this wonderful B&B. Frank and Oki were gracious hosts and provided great information both before and during our trip. Our room was so comfortable and had everything you could possibly need including hot water maker for tea, Nespresso for coffee, converters, a hair dryer, and a great bed! Delicious breakfast... Everything was perfect. The hosts were so very helpful and every suggestions they made was spot on! The B&B is located in a beautiful neighborhood within walking distance to everything. The room was very spacious and immaculate. The breakfast was great each morning. I would not stay anywhere else in Amsterdam.

The terrace room was comfortable with a great shower in an updated, large bathroom . The B&B is Conveniently close (5-10 min. walk) to the major art museums, in a very nice nice, quiet neighborhood. Frank & Oki could not have been more gracious. They were both very helpful, and went above and beyond, by accommodating our requests. Taxi from... More
