We have recently returned from a five night break in Amsterdam, and chose to stay for a second time at the charming Le Quartier Sonang. The location for us was perfect, short walk to the beautiful canals, but then back to a quiet, residential area with good choice of restaurants. Our room at the front of the house was perfect...

The attention to detail is fantastic - the bathroom had heated underfloor marble tiles 😀, so lovely to walk on. The room itself is spacious, nicely decorated with big patio doors overlooking the garden. Oki and Frank clearly went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable and thank you for recommending some excellent restaurants, the Indonesian one...

From booking our stay to checking out, the hospitality and advice we received was great. We arrived and travelled from the airport by bus, a ten minute walk from the bus stop to Le Quartier Sonang. From the moment the door was opened we were made to feel so very welcome. Frank made us a cup of tea and coffee,...

Oki and Frank were outstanding. They gave us great information about where to visit, restaurants, and how to get around Amsterdam via bus, tram, train. The B&B is in a great location and in a very quiet area. The room was sizeable and very comfortable with a nice balcony. Delivered breakfasts by Oki were great. A wonderful and relaxing trip....

We stayed in the Chambre De Ville room (the one facing the street) for 3 nights in March. Oki welcomed us and gave us all the info that we needed, like maps, list of restaurants nearby, sights to go to, tips on what else to do, etc. We met Frank briefly as he works during the day and we only...

Oki and Frank were absolutely great hosts. The room was excellent, well furnished, and had just the right amenities. Not only that, but they were located close to great restaurants and just a few blocks from Amsterdam highlights. Thank you Oki and Frank for a great stay!!!!

We knew that we would *see* masterpieces in Amsterdam (at the museums and along the canals); and we knew that we would *hear* masterpieces (at the Concertgebouw, with its miraculous acoustics); what we didn’t know was that we’d *stay* in a masterpiece. Frank and Oki are the new Dutch Masters — masters of the craft of hospitality. They have created...

I can probably only repeat what others have written, but out of respect for our experience, I must "pile on" and add to the opinion here. My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in February on our way to an African adventure and couldn't be more pleased with our choice. Frank and Okki were terrific hosts, and responded...

Great location a few minutes walk from the main canal area in quiet but characterful street . Frank and Oki , the owners are very friendly and helpful . More than lived up to expectations . Loved having breakfast in the privacy of our room and also liked being able to return to the room for a rest mid afternoon...
