We just returned from a four night stay at B and B Helmers. What a great place. Fons gave us a warm welcome on arrival, and he and Odette were happy to help with any questions we had about Amsterdam. The bed was very comfortable and the shower excellent. The well stocked kitchenette was perfect for relaxed breakfast times, with...

We stayed at Helmers B&B for three nights and everything was just going perfect! The landlord couple, Odette and Fons, were very welcoming and kind and helpful with recommendations - just what you`re longing for as an individual tourist. We were even allowed to use the roof terrace of which you have a beautiful view all over Amsterdam. The room...

My wife and I enjoyed 3 nights in Bed and Breakfast Helmers Mar. 13-16, 2016. Yes, it is best to have light luggage, and good knees, as it is a climber to get to the room. But....once tereall is looked after. The room fridge is stocked with eggs, milk, orange juice, cheese, sliced meat. Great coffee too. Each morning, at 8:15AM,...

5 star bed and breakfast in great location in Amsterdam. The stairs are extremely steep but most of Amsterdam is like this, so travel light....but the place is great....extremely clean and modern. Nice bathroom, shower, fantastic bed etc. Lovely fresh bread in mornings - fruit, cheese, hams etc... All in all - very impressive place and will stay here next...

We stayed at the b & b helmers for 3 nights with my wife. It takes 10 - 15 minutes to reach the house from the central station by tram. Although the location is not exactly in the center, it is within walking distance to many sightseeing spots and the tram stop is less tham 1 minute by walk. Our...

Enjoyed our 4 night stay at B&B Helmers. Planned our stay to take advantage of close proximity to Museum district and the location did not disappoint. Added bonus are the many restaurants, access to trams and Vondelpark. Room was clean and we liked the flexibility of our small kitchen stocked with breakfast goodies for 3 day intervals, replenished each morning...

We were quite comfortable here. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very clean, the beds extremely comfortable, and quiet. There were many thoughtful touches through out the rooms. And the shower was wonderful, great water pressure for being on the fifth floor. As many reviewers have pointed out though, be aware that there are many, very...

Our 4 nights stay at B&B Helmers turned out to be the best stay during our long trip. Odette welcomed us warmly and did her best, more than what's expected, to make us feel comfortable. She provided us with the info about places we were looking for and also took care of our special diet for the breakfast. The five-star...
