We booked after careful research - the previous reviewer clearly did not - a traditional Amsterdam townhouse run by a great team. Godwin was a fantastic host from early arrival to breakfast served super early to send us on our way back to the airport after a lovely weekend in a special city. Facilities were excellent and only a few...

I stayed at B&B Barangay in the middle of October for a weekend. Godwin, Wimmo and Edson were all fantastic, they made me feel very welcome and were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and spacious, equipped with everything you need plus some. The breakfast was delicious and presented lovely! I will definitely be staying again...

The design and colors of the b&b were amazing but the place of the b&b was awful. If you would like to go back to your b&b at night it is really dangerous. The breakfast was okay but it is a classical old house so you have to climb the house literally.

Dear Guest, Nice to hear you enjoyed the tropical decoration and our breakfasts served in you room. We do not understand your comment about our location. ( I hope nothing bad happened to you) Our B&B is located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site, in the historic centre of Amsterdam. This is a save area. On Tripadvisor guests rated our...

Warm welcome from Wimmo, sat with us with drinks and described in lovely detail the sights of Amsterdam and places to avoid. Barangay is a delightful warm and clean B&B decorated in humorous style and with a delicious three course breakfast delivered to the room.

I was traveling solo from the US and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. A great location within a quick walk to central station. The guys who run the B&B were excellent and the breakfast was a huge perk. When I come back I'll surely be staying here again. Thanks so much!

A lovely, warm reception from Wim, the host. He took the time to give us plenty of advice about where to visit. Super breakfast served in our room. We'd really recommend staying here. Even though there are plenty of narrow stairs, it's all part of the history of Amsterdam houses.

Found this BnB on Tripadvisor and Hotels.com when searching for accommodations near the train sta, for 5 nights in Feb. After reading the reviews on both sites, we booked a room and are glad we did! First time in a BnB in our 25+ years of traveling to Europe An old Amsterdam style 5 story house....Loved the location, the room...

Everything was perfectly clean and very well presented. Delightful quirky rooms. The guys that own and run it were all really helpful, kind and knowledgeable. Great suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to try.

We arrived at B&B Barangay after a week aboard Viking Mani. Edwin greeted us with a smile and a cup of tea-awesome first impression. He gave us a tutorial of Amsterdam pointing out the major attractions and various districts. We had been forewarned regarding the stairs and staying on the 3rd floor gave us a welcomed level of exercise. Our...

We only spent two nights in Amsterdam but the Barangay was in a perfect location. Two minutes walk from a host of restaurants, boutiques, cheese and chocolate shops, what more could you want. The accommodation was lovely, so clean, quite quirky but we really enjoyed our stay so much. Wimmo served the best gin and tonics and was very knowledgeable...
